{Episode 24: Testing 1-2-3 / Episode 25: Didn't We Almost Have It All?}

Vittoria when it came to bars was the life of the party, but not today. She and Lexie were at a bar across from the hospital where they wanted to spend their intern years and where their older sister was working. Today was their mom's funeral. It was hard to face it, Ria tried to stay strong for her sisters and dad but inside she was a wreck.

By now she must have drunk at least seven glasses of vodka. Lexie seems to be in better shape than Ria. She wasn't drunk and was just thinking about all the happy memories of their mother. "Do you remember when we were five and we had argued about a pink blanket? And we hadn't talked to each other for over five hours? The longest time we went ever without speaking to each other." Ria chuckled at the memory. Tears started to fall from her eyes. "Then, Mom locked us in a room until we spoke. It didn't even last a minute before we started talking to each other." The two sisters laugh at the nostalgic memory.

Their mom was the perfect mom with cons and pros. When they were sad, she made them laugh. When they were in pain, she was there to smooth it and make it better. When they got their heart broken for the first time, she was there with ice cream and lots of tissues. She was there for their ceremonies and the school events. She was there for them and they will never forget that. They have to live with the memories they hold with her.

As Ria continued to drink shots like it was water, a man with very nice hair came towards them but sat on the bar. He made eye contact with Lexie for a short time but smiled at both of the girls. After having a terrible day, Lexie felt brave enough to talk to him as Ria sat there.

She was looking around in case she found something more interesting from drinking her sorrows. There were couples, and friends laughing with each other. The bar was busy, to say the least.

"Hey. I'm sorry for leaving you, I just..." Vittoria looked up at her twin sister and gave her a drunk smile. "Okay. We're leaving now before you get any more wasted than you already are. Tomorrow, we get to see the hospital before our first day and you will be hungover."

Lexie, like always, was right. The next morning, Vittoria was hungover, her head was killing her and she felt nauseous. She was still on the clothes from last night, probably lexie was too tired to change her. She stood up and went to bathroom to get ready.

As she come downstairs, she saw her father passed down on the sofa with bottles of alcohol surrounding him. This is a common picture on their house for the past weeks, from the day Susan died. Her sisters and her didn't know what to do with the situation. He was never sober any more and he wasn't himself.

She shook her head and saw Lexie eating a toast while there is another one on a plate. "Thanks." She smiles and takes a bite of the toast. "So...He is still like that. Do you think he will be back to his usual behavior any time soon?"

Lexie just shrugs her shoulders. She truly didn't know. But, she wished he would. However, not always everything goes as we would like.

The rest of the interns and the twins were exploring the hospital. Ria was already amazed and was excited but not more than Lexie. Everyone knew that Lexie is the sweet and more open twin, not wonder she was very popular in high school, while Ria was more closed-off and loner. But both of them had each other for the rest of their lives.

Anyway, the guys and a girl looked around while critisizing the lockers. The twins didn't participate as they were too busy staring at the place. It was alright, but, in Ria's opinion, it could get better. "Yo guys, look. Bloody scrubs!" Again, everyone laughed except for the twins. However, they stopped once the same blonde guy saw a guy with dark brown hair in the lockers. "Hi."

"Hey." The atmosphere got quickly awkward as no one knew what to say. However, soon they left to go see the cafeteria, only Ria and Lexie stayed.

"Hey. We are the new interns." Lexie tried to make coversation which usual goes well but not this time. The guy just said a plain "yeah" and nothing more. he continue to do what he was doing before he was interrupted by the new interns. Instead of giving up, Lexie continued to try. "You look seasoned and wise. Got any advise?"

The guy once again answer with the same tone. "No. Learn how to do an appendectomy, start to finish, before your first day."

"Are you leaving?" Ria may have not speak yet but she was curious too. The boy just nodded.

"Better offer? Fired? Failed exams?" Lexie hit Ria's arm at her assuptions while George was at loss of words. She was used to them, she does it a lot.

"No-No, uh, just...you know.Life." Ria made 'o' with her mouth like when the kids mimic a fish. It was obvious that the boy across from them has gotten uncomfortable, so Lexie tried to apologize and make him better. "She tends to ask these type of questions, don't mind her. Anyway, good luck with....life, Dr..."

The boy came closer to the twins and took first Lexie's hand and then Ria's. "My name is George."

"I'm Lexie. Lexie Grey."

"And I'm her twin sister. Vittoria Grey but if we ever see each other again, call me Ria."

This is such a short chapter, but I wanted to put in one chapter the season 3 and in another chapter to start season 4. I believe it is a important the last episode of the season 3 as probably George knowing Meredith's history with her family and now that Lexie came, he wanted to be there for Mer, which shows how much he cared for her. Also, we got know a little more Vittoria. I don't want to make Vittoria have the same storyline as Lexie on the show, so I will try my best to change some parts but I will let some things to be the same as in the show. I know who I want her to end up with, but I'm not sure yet if he will be endgame or an important love main interest on her story. So, if you have any suggestion, it is welcomed. I hoped you liked this chapter even if it's a small one like I said.
