[Episode 3: Let The Truth Sting]

{ Meredith } : Doctors give patients a number of things. We give them medicine. We give them advice. And most of the time, we give them our undivided attention.

Vittoria and Lexie were on the elevator along with a doctor, also known as Dr. Karev, or evil spawn as their resident calls him. Anyone could see he was the definition of trouble but not Lexie. She looked up at him and so did he. They smiled at each other but Ria hit Lexie's hand to stop her and gave the most sarcastic smile at him while getting between them. There was no way she would let her sister get mixed with this man who sleeps with anything that wears a woman's perfume.

Then, some of their co-workers that Ria could not help but despise. She really starts to understand Cristina's distaste for them. They are whiny, all the time wanting surgeries without having experience just to look good, and antagonistic idiots. They were doing everything just to win something in the worst ways. She doubts if they will ever change their ways not that she cares. "I heard he saved a guy who coded yesterday. By himself."

"He just knows things. He never messes up in rounds and always has the answers." So they were talking about George. "And he is so calm. I'm always terrified, but he's, like, steady."

"Best intern ever. Him and this Vittoria girl. Lexie's twin. She is smart and always excited, she's not anxious, at all. I'm jealous of both of them." Ria smirked in happiness.

Dr. Karev turned and whispered to the girls. "Hey. Who are they talking about?"

"George O'Malley and my sister, Vittoria." Lexie says while moving her head towards the girl between them who was still smiling in happiness. The guy looked impressed to Ria but frowned.

"Seriously? Don't they know that he...?" The twins just nodded their heads negatively.

{ Meredith } : But, by far, the hardest thing that you can give a patient is the truth.

The two girls left to go to the lockers to get ready for the day while leaving the guy in disbelief.

{ Meredith } : The truth is hard. The truth is awkward. And very often...the truth hurts. I mean, people say they want the truth. But do they really?

While the interns were waiting for their resident, who seems to be sad or act like it, they were making a small talk. "You know, dad is still drinking. That's making him an alcoholic and we should do something about it. Molly is with Laura and Eric, she has her own family and responsibilities. We can't let him do that to himself, mom wouldn't want that."
