[Episode 5: Haunt You Every Day]
A few days ago, the twins had stood up for themselves which brought them pride for it. Of course, it helped that Derek stood up for them to their resident, Dr. Yang. The next days were great, especially as it was Halloween today.
One of the most likable days for the twins. However, Vittoria wasn't feeling the theme this year.
[ Meredith ]: There's a reason surgeons learn to wield scalpels. We like to pretend we're hard, cold scientists. We like to pretend we're fearless. But the truth is, we become surgeons because somewhere, deep down, we can cut away that which haunts us...
Lexie sat up when she heard screams coming from the next door, Ria's bedroom. She ran there as quickly as she could fearing that something happened in the night. Ria was sweating and panting. Trying to reach for a breath. Tears were running down her face and then she woke up as her brown eyes made entrance.
Lexie went and hugged her, trying to calm her sister down. "Everything is alright. Don't worry, you're fine. It was just a nightmare." After a few minutes, Ria calmed down while taking a few breaths. It was just a nightmare, she whispered to herself. "Do you want to talk about it?"
Ria just nodded her head negatively, not wanting to talk about it. She just wanted to forget it.

The hospital as usual was busy and full on gossip. Ria was drinking her second coffee as after the nightmare she had she couldn't sleep. Their resident wasn't there yet, so she had a few minutes free while Lexie was god knows where.
She was in the nurses desk in quiet, that was until a nurse with black hair come and started to look at her. She raised her head and smiled kindly at her knowing she wanted to be in their good side. "Have you heard about the newest gossip?"
Vittoria forrowed her eyes in curiocity as she shook her head not hearing about it. "There is a new surgeon. Dr. Matthew Noel. He is neurosergeon and a friend of Dr. Shepherd. Gosh he is so good looking. You should see his shoulders." Ria hold a chuckle. She kind of felt bad for the doctor as he was the center of the gossip radar which wasn't always a good thing.
For example, she heard about a nurse union against the head of plastics, Mark Sloan. She can't imagine with how many nurses he has slept to end up having them against him.
[ Meredith ]: Weakness, frailty...death.
Apparently, she was with her sister today, for some unknown reason to her. She is still on the same desk waiting for Meredith to come up to her or page her. The only difference is that Dr. Sloan made an appearance.
