Hello there, newcomer! You can call me ProfessorValentine87. This guide book is a tutorial for restoring old My Little Pony dolls. As somebody who's been collecting My Little Ponies for well over a decade, I'm more than happy to share some of the tips and tricks I've picked up over the years in relation to the cleaning and preservation of ponies.
Most of my ponies are bought from charity shops, so they are usually aren't in the best condition when I buy them. From pen marks to haircuts, believe me babes, I've seen it all! And let me tell you, sometimes it definitely can be intimidating to start a new restoration project, but don't let that discourage you. I believe that the best way to learn is by doing and you aren't going to get anywhere if you don't try something new. In the words of Bob Ross, there are no mistakes, just happy accidents.
Pictured above is Tea Leaf (Pretty Pony Fashions, 2004), my very first pony who was gifted to me by my grandmother when I was small. She hopes you enjoy this guide book too! Before we jump into restoration, let's briefly touch on how to identify My Little Ponies.
