Trigger warning : violence ⚠️
"What is it?" First asked Finn, standing in his office. "Boss, it's Thawon," Pond responded. Thawon was the youngest leader of the Wang family, another powerful mafia family after Puitrakul. They have always been in conflict for power interests, since the Puitrakul family was the one controlling most big territories and there was more profit for them. The Wang's family wanted that control and power too by eliminating the Puitrakul family.
"Boss, they captured two of our workers and demanded that we go to the location they specified," Finn said.
"They also ransacked our operation and are holding them hostage until we arrive," Pond added. First clenched his jaw, his gaze intense, the blood flow increased in his body, and he lashed out by throwing objects on the table. "Let's go," he said with a murderous tone.
They have reached the location it was sent to. Pond and Finn pull out their guns, giving glances to First, and step inside the old warehouse. First saw his workers all tied up and a few people standing behind them with guns to their heads. First looked at the person sitting on the chair, back straight and chin held high, holding a gun.
"First, Kanaphan, so glad to see you," the person said, flashing his evil smirk. The person was tall, with a well-built body, and taller like First, wearing a suit and a scar on his chin with a neck tattoo.
"Thawon released them," First said with his harsh voice, glaring at the person sitting. The person tilted his head, stood up, and walked towards First. Pond and Finn were ready to shoot the person if he came any closer to their boss.
"You are no fun?" the person said, stepping closer to him and putting his gun on First's chest. Pond stepped forward and put his gun behind his back, and bodyguards from different party points the gun at each other.
"You dare to mess with me, Thawon?" First said, stepping forward, glaring into the person's dark brown eyes, and grabbed him by his throat, almost choking him. Thawon's bodyguards started shooting, and Pond and Finn started shooting too.
Thawon was choking, searching for air and digging his nails into First's hands, struggling to break free. Another person put the gun to First's back, almost releasing the trigger to shoot into First's head, but a sniper shot him straight in the brain. The person was dead, bleeding out from his head. First grinned and released Thawon before punching him to the ground.
Thawon fell to the ground, trying to breathe and stand up, but the taller man kicked him in the stomach and pressed his leg on his stomach, causing him more pain, and put a gun to his forehead.
"I'm warning you, Thawon. Don't ever try to mess with me again," First warned him and kicked him in the stomach, causing the person to start bleeding from his mouth. Thawon's men were all defeated, and Thawon was lying unconscious, bleeding on the ground. They all headed out from the warehouse along with the hostage worker.
Finn sent all his men back home, and Pond was standing beside First to check for any injuries on his boss when Mark ran towards First and stood proudly smiling.
"Did I get them, Boss?" Mark asked, waiting to be praised by his boss. Mark was trained for long-range combat when he was young by his family, which specializes in snipers. He was also skilled in one-on-one combat, which was trained by the Puitrakul family.
"Good job," First said.

First entered his home late in the evening, exhausted. He noticed the boy and his books, notepad all scattered across the kitchen counter. He reached the kitchen counter, but the boy didn't even acknowledge his presence; he was so immersed in whatever he was doing-scribbling something across the paper and typing on his laptop, then sighing and running his finger through his hair in frustration. First watched through the corner of his eyes and smiled. He sat beside him.
