Khaotung's concern for First had grown throughout the day as he noticed First unusually dark mood. Memories of the incident in the home office replayed in his mind, where First had erupted in anger, throwing things around and shouting at his bodyguards while seemingly ignoring Khaotung. Leaving Khaotung deeply worried about what could be troubling First so deeply.
Unable to shake off his concerns, Khaotung turned to Pond, hoping to get some answers.
"Pond, take me to First. I need to see him," Khaotung insisted, his tone firm and determined despite Mark's warnings.
Pond hesitated, knowing that First wouldn't be pleased to have Khaotung visit, especially under these circumstances.
"Khaotung, I don't think it's a good idea. Boss is dealing with something right now, and he might not want you to see him like this," Pond cautioned.
"I don't care, Take me to him," he commanded,
Reluctantly, Pond acquiesced, knowing Khaotung well enough to understand that his mind was made up. He led Khaotung to an old warehouse on the outskirts of town, a place Khaotung had been to before but never in such circumstances.
As they approached cautiously, Khaotung's senses heightened. He could hear the sounds of a scuffle, muffled grunts and thuds echoing from within. Pushing open the door, he stepped inside, his eyes widening at the scene before him.
First was there, surrounded by several men, his fists moving with precision and power as he landed brutal blows on them. His face was contorted with rage, his usual calm demeanor replaced by a storm of fury. The sight was becoming normal for Khaotung by now as he had seen worst, But deep down, he understood that something must have driven First to this point of raw aggression again.
"First!" Khaotung finally called out, his voice cutting through the chaos of the warehouse.
First's head snapped around, his expression a blend of anger and surprise as he locked eyes with Khaotung. His fists clenched, and for a moment, he seemed torn between the battle raging around him and the presence of Khaotung in the midst of it all.
"What are you doing here?" First's voice was sharp, cutting through the chaos, his gaze piercing as he confronted Khaotung.
Khaotung hesitated, his concern overriding any fear.
"I saw how upset you were earlier. I had to make sure you're okay," he explained earnestly, stepping closer despite the danger while First's jaw tightened, and he glanced around at the chaotic scene surrounding them.
"This is not the place for you," he growled, his voice rough with emotion and glared at Pond , standing nearby, shifted uncomfortably.
"Boss, I tried to stop him," Pond interjected nervously, knowing he had no choice but to obey Khaotung's insistence.
First's eyes narrowed at Pond before turning back to Khaotung. Without warning, he moved forward and grabbed Khaotung by the arm, pulling him away from the fray with a firm grip. Khaotung winced slightly at the strength of First's hold but followed willingly, knowing that arguing in the midst of such a volatile situation would only escalate matters further.
"What the hell are you thinking?" First demanded, his voice low but filled with intensity as he led Khaotung away from the warehouse.
Khaotung felt a surge of frustration and hurt. "I was worried about you, damn it!" he exclaimed, his voice cracking with emotion. "You were clearly in trouble, and I couldn't just stand by and do nothing."
First stopped abruptly, turning to face Khaotung with a mixture of exasperation and concern. He reached up, brushing a strand of hair from Khaotung's face with a gentleness that contradicted his earlier roughness.
