It has been a few days since Khaotung moved into this new place. This place was livelier than the previous one, with more bodyguards around and, of course, Mix. It was a little annoying for Khaotung to live with a narcissist. Mix was no less crazy than First, but at least he wasn't as hot-headed.

As days went by, it became more annoying for Khaotung as Mix brought different people every day.

One day, a woman mistook Khaotung for Mix and entered his room without knocking while Khaotung was changing his clothes. The woman locked the door behind them and made a move on Khaotung.

As for Khaotung, he would not have minded having sex with her since it had been so long for him, but the fear of getting caught by First and seeing the woman bleed to death was not in his list. So, he pushed the woman away, unlocked the door, and yelled at Mix to take the woman away from his room and never bring anyone near him, or else he would beat the crap out of him, not caring who he was.

Mix and Khaotung were not close, but they were living under the same roof for days, so they have started to bicker. Mostly, it was Mix who would start something and offend Khaotung, and Khaotung would do the same to Mix to make him angry.

Khaotung was always wandering around the house out of boredom because there was nothing to do. He was not close with any of the bodyguards, and they all looked very unfriendly. Finn was still in the hospital undergoing physical therapy. Pond and Mark were busy with First, and asking First to let him go while he was still not healed yet was a suicide mission, as these days he was always in a bad mood. Tay and First had been on bad terms since the David incident. David had stopped doing business with them and joined the rival family just to provoke First more.

Khaotung was smoking beside the small lake in Puitrakul resident when Neo snatched his cigarette from his mouth and threw it away.

"Stop smoking, Khaotung, you are still not healed," Neo said. Khaotung rolled his eyes and sighed.

"How are you feeling now?" Neo asked, turning to face Khaotung.

"I'm fine, don't worry about it," Khaotung said, reaching for his pocket, taking a cigarette pack again, and lighting a cigarette. Neo shook his head in disappointment and sighed. He thought for a few seconds, wanting to say something, but he was fidgeting and hesitating.

"Khaotung," Neo called out to him while Khao was looking at the sky and blowing the smoke.

"Mmm," he hummed.

"He is back looking for you, asking about you around the whole town," Neo said, glancing at Khaotung.

"Song," Neo added, waiting for his reaction. Khaotung stopped smoking upon hearing the name, which triggered him. His expression twisted into a blank face, making it hard to read his expressions. He broke the cigarette with his fingers.

"Don't call his name," Khaotung said, throwing the cigarette to the ground.

"Khaotung, I'm worried about you. You almost got killed by those dangerous people, and now this man came back looking for you. I think you should not get involved with First anymore," Neo said. He was worried about his friend and couldn't believe he almost lost him and what he had gone through.

"But I'm still alive, ain't I?" Khaotung replied. "But, Khaotung," Neo was interrupted by Khaotung.

"I can protect myself, I have done it before and I can do it now too," Khaotung responded exasperatedly. Then he recalled First's words,

"Let me protect you, Khaotung." His words were repeating in his mind, but his mind was having a conflict. First will protect him at all costs versus he should not rely on anyone.
