Khautong was restocking the drinks  in the store he recently started working at when he heard the sound of the door opening.

"Hey, we meet again," Ohm said with his gentle tone, looking at Khautong.

"Hi, what brings you here?" Khautong asked, closing the fridge door after restocking.

"Cigarettes," Ohm chuckled. His eyes then moved to Khautong's hand, which was wrapped in a bandage.

"How is your hand now?" Ohm asked, and Khautong was looking at his hand.

"It's better now, and thank you for the bandage and medicine," Khautong thanked him, showing him his hand, for which Ohm had brought a bandage and some painkillers last time.

"No problem," Ohm said. Khautong scanned the cigarettes pack and gave it to Ohm. The other person paid and opened his mouth, looking at Khautong.

" If you are free after your shift, will you have a few drinks with me?" Ohm said, looking at Khaotung looking hopeful. Khaotung looked at him, thinking for a few seconds to check if he had anything else to do. Also, Ohm had saved his life and helped him, so it would be rude to say no.

"Okay, sure," Khaotung spoke and gave him a smile.

"Perfect, let's exchange contacts so it will be easier to let you know where to go," Ohm explained, holding his phone. Khaotung nodded, picked up his phone, and scanned Ohm's contact. Ohm waved goodbye to him before leaving the store.

                                 _

First was sitting in his office, going through some paperwork, when a knock on his door stirred him. He shuffled away from his work as a person emerged inside his office and stood in front of his desk.

"How's it going?" First asked the person, putting the paper on the desk.

"Boss, the boy is safe and it seems like Mr. David's people have not found him yet," the person said with his deep voice, standing still.

"Just keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't suspect," First said. He didn't want another conflict with Khautong again, as he knew if the boy found out someone was keeping an eye on him, he would really flip out and argue with First again, maybe worst khaotung will beat the shit out of the person who dared to follow him.

"Yes, boss," the person said, and First gave a sign that he could leave now. The person bowed and left the place.

First stands up from his desk, huffs out a breath, and walks towards the big window. He can see the view from the top floor, the traffic, big buildings outside, and people looking like small ants walking around. These days were exhausting for him, too busy with work, spending time at different meetings and dealing with people. And on top of that dealing with David's people and trying to protect Khaotung, First inhales a sharp breath; he needs to relax and distract himself.

                                    _

Khaotung was done with his shift and started to close the store when a knock was heard by the window. It was Ohm waiting for him to finish his shift so they could go together for drinks. Khaotung gestured to him and came out to close the store.

"Ready to go?" Ohm said, one hand in his pocket, giving a thumbs-up.

"Yes, let's go," Khaotung nodded.

They went to a small bar near the place. It was a dart bar setup with dim neon lighting, a bar stage where live music was playing, people drinking and playing darts board tournaments. They walked over to a table and took a seat. Khaotung was looking at the people playing, and Ohm sat next to him.
