"use wasabi and soy sauce," yang-jung demanded after picking up a pair of chopsticks to place a fresh, premium cut of fish onto each of the kids' plates, cat-like eyes boring into their skin as they did as told.

it was around one thirty, a few hours after geon-woo and hae-rin's talk. a few hours since the two had been pressed so unbelievably close, basking in each other's warmth, and yet already, they were craving for more.

at the moment, hae-rin was sat between the two men at the table of the japanese house yang-jung had run, their thighs kissing hers ever so softly that it was comforting. making her feel protected at all sides-protected from the evils of the outside world.

it was so strange: her feelings. they were so jumbled, so misconstrued, because at one moment, she could be ready to lurch at woo-jin's throat, then the next, she wanted him pressed against her being. skin to skin. heart to heart.

and when she was with geon-woo, she felt things that were beyond anything words could define. felt like she was floating, graced with the presence of an angel because that's what he was: an angel in disguise.

sometimes she liked to tell herself that he was sent down from heaven, placed in the world-in her life-for guidance, to help her navigate her way through thick and thin. and oh how she wanted to tell whatever higher power there was that their best angel was doing a damn good job.

placing the piece of fish in her mouth with a hum, hae-rin smiled at the taste, putting two thumbs up to show her appreciation. "it's delicious," she spoke, covering her mouth.
