CHAPTER 15

Jane gets out of bed and turns on the lights. She slides her feets into her flops and moves out. "What's happening to me",. She said as she kept walking. She walked past the main gate and in a few minutes, she was out on the streets

"Okay my dearest citizen and soon to be victim Anna, I think I'll leave you to rest. Here, let's get this back on", Scarlet said as she tied her mouth with the scarf. She opened the door and walks out leaving Anna in the dark.

As she got to the Music room, her phone rang. "Hello King RK", She said in a delighted tone. "Oh okay I'll be there in a few minutes", Scarlet replied as she hung up.

Jane kept walking as if she was under some kind of spell. She couldn't stop even if a car crossed her face.
"Hey watch where you're going", one driver shouted as Jane crossed his car. Jane kept walking like she was dump. Just then she came across a group of guys who were smoking on the streets. "Hey look at that", One of the guys said to the other two. "Check that. She's just my choice. Quick let's get her in the car", The other guy replied. They all got up and followed Jane quietly. When they got closer, one guy opened a bottle of chloroform and poured some into his handkerchief. He sneaked quietly behind Jane who was still walking blindly. Just before Jane could take another step, he covered her nose and mouth with the handkerchief till she passed out. She finally fell on the ground unconscious. "Look at that", the first guy said. "Let's get her in the car before someone sees us. "Oh I wouldn't be so sure about that", A voice said behind them. It was Chris. "Who the hell are you?", the first guy said. "I'm just a normal person with a normal life. I think it will be best if you let her go and  turn slowly and run away as fast as you can", Chris said. "Hahaha , and why would we do that", the second guy replied . "I'm going to give you two good reasons why you should. One, she's the princess of this place and two, she's the love of my life!", Chris yelled as he punched the first guy in the face. The others tried to attack but he lay them all down."Ughh!", they all groaned as they lay on the ground. "You can mess with a lot of things. But you can't mess with me in this state", Chris said. "This isn't over! I promise we'll get you again", They said as they run off. Chris quickly runs to Jane who was lying on the floor. "Don't worry my dear. You'll be alright. He carries her and headed for his house

Scarlet arrives at King RK's mansion. "Welcome to my humble house your highness",King RK said as he bowed a little. "Don't flatter me Reshin Khan , it makes me ruthless", Scarlet replied. "Oh sorry my bad. Anyway come in", King RK said as he led her in. "It's been a while since I last came here. I still remember the naughty advice you gave me and now look at the mess I'm in now"Scarlet said. "Calm down Scarlet. That was ages ago and besides it was your fault things went bad. If you had killed him on time, he wouldn't have had enough time to hide the evidence. And now that we don't know where it is, it's just a matter of time before someone finds it and when that happens nothing is going to save us", He said. " Chill out Reshin, there's no way anyone will find out. And don't worry, very soon I'll get Jane to be Queen. And once she's fully ready, she'll open the gates for me and we'll rule everything", Scarlet replied. " I hope so. And I can see my son and your daughter are getting well along", " Yes they're. And if it's not that Jane is a low-like as her mum, they would have dominated the world together ", Scarlet said. "Speaking of Mara, where did you put her", RK asked. "Oh as for her she's in a good place. I'm sure she's enjoying it there. It's late and I have to get going. We'll talk later", she said she got up. "Good night queen, we'll talk tomorrow", RK replied. Scarlet opened the door and moved out

It's morning and the birds are chirping loudly. Jane wakes up feeling uneasy. She sits straight as she notices someone asleep on the chair behind the bed. "Chris?", She said. Chris woke up from his slumber. "Heyy Jane you're awake. Are you okay", He asked. "Yes I'm fine just a slight headache. What am I doing here?. What happened?", "I should be asking you that. What were you doing on the streets last night?", Chris asked. "Me? On the streets? I don't remember a thing Chris. The last thing I remember was a woman sitting on a swing and calling my name. The next think I remember was waking up this morning",she replied . "That's weird", Chris said. "Let me get you something to eat. We'll discuss this later", Chris said as he got up.

Scarlet opens the door to Jane's room "darling?. Jane?*, she said. She looked everywhere but couldn't find her. "where has She gone to?. I hope she's not where I think she is. I'll go there right now and see for myself"....
