CHAPTER 18

Chris hurried down the stairs. He managed to walk past the guards without getting noticed. "I must tell Jane about this. But how do I get her to believe me. I can't convince her that her mum is a bad person. She'll never believe me. Maybe she would if she sees it for herself", Chris said. He managed to get out of the palace and onto the main streets

"Hello Chris?. Why are you panting so heavily?", Jane said as she picked the call. "Jane please listen to me carefully. I've had a location on my mum but I need your help", Chris said. "What is it Chris tell me", Jane replied. "I want you to come with the police to the old farm house near the mountainside. I believe that's where my mum is", Chris said. "Right away Chris", Jane said as she got up from the table

"Come here you little rag", The first guy said as he dragged Anna into the cabin. He brought out a large rope and tied her arms and legs together. "Now let's see how you manage to escape now", he said.

"Have you done as I instructed you?", Scarlet asked on the phone. "Yes my queen. We have her in the cabin. And we brought what you asked us to bring", The guy replied. "That's awesome. I'll be there in a minute",she said. Just as she put the phone down, the phone rung again. "Ughh this man is so annoying. What does he want from me this time", Scarlet said as she threw the phone to the back seat and continued driving.

"Ohh so this is how we go now Scarlet. I knew a day like this will come but not this early. Remember who you are Scarlet. I made you this way. You owe me everything", King RK said furiously as he threw the phone through the plane glass.
"Dad is everything okay", George said as he came out of his room. "yes my son. It's nothing don't worry about me", King RK replied . "You look upset dad, what's bothering you ", George asked again. "I said I'm fine my boy. Don't worry about me. I'm okay", King RK replied

Scarlet pulled over at the farmhouse and parked under the shed. She came out if the car and headed for the farm. She knocked the door and they opened up. "Well well well, look what we have here. What were you thinking Anna. You thought you could escape from me?. What a pity", Scarlet said as she mocked.
"You know what. I don't want you to stress yourself any longer so I'll make this easy for you", she said as she signalled the men to bring The box. "you'll die Scarlet and you'll go to hell!", Anna screamed. "I know my darling. I will go to hell. But before that, I'll send you to prepare a place for me", Scarlet said as she opened the box. She brought out a black bomb vest . "Look what I got for you Anna", Scarlet said as she laughed. "Put it on her!", She ordered the first guy.  Anna tried to resist but it was no use. They finally got the vest on her
"Just look at how it fits", Scarlet said. The men opened the shelf and brought out three gallons of petrol. They placed it close to Anna and tied it to her. "It's just a matter of time before you go kaboom", Scarlet said as she laughed even harder. "You're a witch Scarlet!", Anna screamed.

"I'm here now. How do I get in?", Chris said.  I hope Jane is on her way with the cops. Chris carefully opened the gate and entered the farmhouse. He tiptoed slowly down the alley till he got to where they were. "Oh no mum!", He said. He watched as Scarlet tortured his mother. Scarlet laughed so hard that the anger inside of Chris burned even more. Before Chris could move another inch, he felt a gun pointed at him from behind. He turned slowly and saw one of the guys pointing out a gun straight to him.

"I want to stay with you through your final moments Anna. It's the least I can do for you. Once the timer hits the second hand. You'll be on your own"Scarlet said. Just then, the guy pushed Chris to the floor right infront of Scarlet.

"Oh look what's here. A family reunion. I wanted to kill the mother but the son is given to me as an act of providence. Tie him up close to his mother. They'll die together", Scarlet said
