Matching Hairclips

Based off of a rp i had with someone!! They said "that would make a good prompt" so here i am,, also somebody asked for broppy proposal!! enjoyy!!

     It was a busy day in the village, the entire place bustling with villagers. It was so lively, and crowded- which made it harder for Poppy. Earlier that day, she made matching hairclips for her and Branch. She got a text from him letting her know he would be out and about that day. He was easily recognizable but it would be difficult to find him given the situation. When she got out of her pod, she realized just how crowded it truly was by gazing around. She groaned in frustration, going down to the ground. Other trolls made way for her.

     As she started walking through the crowd, she thought to herself, 'Now.. if I were Branchifer, where would I be..?'  She was lost in thought of where her partner would be. As she wasn't paying attention of where she was walking and only thought of Branch, she accidentally bumped into someone. "Oh my goodness, I'm so sor-" was all she could mutter out before looking up and realizing she bumped into Branch. She noticed he had his hands behind his back, putting something into his pocket. He wore something similar to what they wore at Bridget and Gristle's wedding.  Poppy just stared lovestruck and shocked for a few seconds before coming back to her senses. She cleared her throat, "We should probably move out of this traffic.."

     Branch smiled and nodded.

     After, the pair moved off to the forest where it was not crowded so they could just stand there in peace.

     "So, Branchy, why so fancy?" Poppy asked.

     "Well.. it just felt right I guess," replied Branch with a smirk.

     "Well, I have something.." The pink troll dug into her pockets, finally finding a small, thin, bright pink box with a white bow on it. She opened it to reveal two flower hairclips both made of fuzzy felt. One of them was hot pink and the other one a bright blue. "Tada!" fanfared the troll. She took the pink hairclip and placed it in Branch's hair, and she took the blue one and put it in her own hair.

     Branch chuckled and touched his hairclip lightly, smiling softly. "It's beautiful Poppy, I'll never take it off."

     "Not even to brush your hair?" Poppy joked.

     "With exceptions."

     Poppy gave Branch a kiss on the cheek and held his hand. "Enjoy it!"

     Branch blushed profoundly and giggled a bit as a response. "I will very much," he replied, gently squeezing Poppy's hand. "Well, I have something to give you too." He sat down on his legs patting the ground next to him, signaling for poppy to sit down. 'She's so, so beautiful.'

     Poppy sat down next to Branch, smiling.

     Branch took out a small white box with a pink bow on it, and stared at it for a little. He sighed and looked at Poppy. "Poppy," he started, and ended with another sigh. He opened the box and followed, "Poppy Springwater, will you do the honors of becoming Poppy Dory?"

     Poppy stared in shock, then shouted, "Yes, yes yes!! A hundred bajillion times yes of course!!!" She tackled Branch cry-laughing and hugged him tight.

     Branch was taken aback but returned the hug, laughing as well.

     Poppy kissed Branch on the lips then wiped her tears away.

     Branch kissed Poppy back and held her face, wiping what she didn't away.

     The pair sat up and Branch slipped the ring on Poppy's finger. Poppy held Branch's hand and rested her head on his shoulder, still sniffling. They rest there for a little until it got dark, which they returned to Branch's bunker because it was the closest shelter near them.
