Cookies (Pt. 2)

broppy cuddles!!!! simply cuddles, only cuddles.

     Poppy yawned and put her arms around Branch with heavy eyelids. "I'm sleepy."

     Branch's eyes widened a bit, then went back to normal and kissed her forehead. He lied down on the couch, making sure Poppy is comfortable. She was on top of his chest. He rubbed behind her ear and started to play with her hair. "Better, Poppyseed?"

     Poppy only hugged him tighter and snuggled him in response. "Mmh.."

     Branch hummed softly, turning down the volume of the show they were watching. He rubbed her back for a little, comforting her, and booped her nose. He then started to focus on playing with her hair, styling it then undoing the style to make a new style all over again. A simple cycle he knew worked on Poppy well, made her relaxed real quick. He also had fun doing so.

     "Can I have one of your hands?" Poppy was barely able to stay awake, but she asked anyway.

     Branch didn't hesitate and let her hand hold his. He had a lovesick expression plastered on his face.

     Poppy lazily held his hand and started tracing the scars on his hands for a little before putting her hand down and back around Branch, resting her eyes.

     Branch continued to hum and play with her hair until Poppy fell asleep, which wasn't for that long. "I wonder why she's always so tired now.. I'm worried for her." He then fell asleep a few minutes after Poppy, and they slept on the couch together.
