"look whose up" i smiled from the opening kitchen as i watched him walk in from the foyer.

he walked in slowly on his phone randomly pausing to type and send a message.

"whew earth to dave!" i waved in annoyance.

"im here, chill ma" he replied approaching slowly.

"mhmm" i said looking at him "who you messaging?".

"hm?" he asked burying his head into my neck.

i laughed pulling away "stop it".

"why? i've missed you ma" he said pulling me back making me smile.

he smiled as he looked down at me "i love you".

"and i love you more" i replied pecking his lips.

"what's with these pecks? kiss your man kam".

"hows's this?" i asked trying again feeling him smile against my lips.

i wrapped my arms around him deepening the kiss feeling him push against me, to try and get me into the corner.

"not now dave" i mumbled against his lips.

he continued slowly making me smile "david i laughed.

"hm?" he mumbled.

"stop, not now" i repeated looking into his eyes.

he looked into mine keeping eye contact until i looked away.

he chuckled "i still make you nervous".

"no you don't it's just weird staring so hard".

he chuckled "i still make your mommy nervous" as he walked over to kamari and saint's cribs.

i smiled as he cooed over them picking up saint who continued to fuss.

"milk is coming baby, blame daddy for distracting me".

"nah he loves his pops don't you?" he asked smiling wide as saint yawned.

he covered him in kisses cradling him and looking at him like he did when he was born. i loved seeing him love his children. it was so pure.

i continued to make saint's bottle cleaning the other bottles to give dave more time playing with saint. i could tell dave had plans today because that was the only time he'd come down before showering. although i knew this i always asked.

"any plans for today?" i asked handing him the bottle.

"yeah just some errands, i'll be back though. it's not work or nothing".

"oh okay, an event?" i asked.

"yeah something like that" he replied.

"okay" i replied not pressing. he would tell me if he wanted to.

"well im planning on doing something fun with the girls".
