Damian
"Mmm." I groaned as I had Leila pinned up against the hard wall while we sucked on each other's faces. I didn't think. Fuck. I just don't wanna think anymore. I needed her bad. Even if I gotta fuck her in this private room. I don't give a fuck who hears us. She tore herself away from my possession, so I nibbled on the crook of her neck. Knowing her freak ass, she was enjoying the sensation, but she still attempts to retreat from my hold.
"Damian, I can't. Not like this."
"Baby, please don't stop me. I need you." I muttered breathlessly against her ear.
"I know. I need you, too... but I can't. This isn't right. I made a pact."
I slowly looked her dead in her eyes with a bit of confusion. "What?"
"I made a pact to Nia that we wouldn't run back to our exes. To live out our best life."
"Lei, do you hear yourself?"
She had me place her back down onto the floor. "I knooow. It sounds stupid, but I can't let her down. She's still going through a lot with her break up with Romeo and she needs me, Damian."
"But, baby, I need you, too. There's no way in hell I'm letting you go again. On my mama, I won't stand for that shit. Have you even told her about Lorenzo?"
"Fuck. No, I haven't. I'm so torn right now and I just need some time to figure things out."
"There's nothing to figure out, mama. I'm the one you need and you know that. Nia should understand that, too. Hell, she's known me longer than any other mufucka you used to pick with."
"Damiannn." Leila pleaded. I know how much their friendship means to each other and I'm sure Nia is in need of a lot of... what y'all call it? Girl time? It's been the same with Romeo in needing his boys as well, so I understand. But daaaamn.
"I got it. How about this... we just don't tell her. What she won't know won't hurt her."
She turns her nose up at me. "No, I can't lie to her. Lorenzo, maybe, but Nia? I can't hide this from her forever. She's still wondering what happened at Sin City. Damian, I don't wanna lie to my best friend."
"Lei, I understand, but this is stupid." She rolls her eyes before turning her back on me. "Baby, for real. It is. We're grown. How else are we gonna be together?"
Leila sucks in a sigh of consideration. "Fuck, you're right." She reverts back to me. "Just give me some time to tell her. Please?" Using those big brown eyes to trap me again.
"Alright." I know, I know. I'm a fuckin bitch.
"Plus... sneaking around could be fun." Mm, I missed her nasty ass. Always keeping shit exciting.
"Uh huh. I knew you'd see a light to this. Get ya sexy ass over here." She bites her lip right before we kissed passionately under the dim lighting.
"I just have a question. What am I supposed to do about Lorenzo?"
"What do you mean? Kick him to the curb. Sorry, baby, but I don't share."
"Damian, I can't just kick him to the curb. He's a nice guy and.... He-."
Annoyed. "He what?"
"He bought me an art studio."
I take a step back and analyzed her closely. "Are my ears deceiving me? Has Leila Nevaeh Campbell become materialistic?"
"Huh? No! I'm-. This is just all too much. I need to breathe and think!"
I take a deep breath and read the room. Her frustration lets me know she might have some real feelings for the lame ass fucker. "Okay," I began. "We'll get through this. Until then..." I take another stressful breath. I can't believe I'm about to say this. "We'll remain a secret."
