I'm in the Entrance Hall of Garreg Mach. It's the day after Tomas, or someone going by that name, warped away from us.

Y/N's Mind: Nobody knows where people like Tomas or Kronya is from. And they don't know where I'm from either. People might start suspecting me, and they might accuse me of being with them... But if that's the case, at least they're keeping it to themselves. (sighs) Explaining the fact that I'm not with them is gonna be a drag...

I hear footsteps heading my way. I look to see Edelgard approaching me.

Edelgard: Ah, there you are, Y/N.

Y/N: What's up, Edelgard?

Edelgard: I'm afraid I must return to the Imperial capital soon for an important matter. I was wondering. Will you join me? Most of the other Black Eagles are coming.

Y/N: (nods) Okay, sure. But what's this about?

Edelgard: I fear I must keep that to myself until we're closer to the capital. But I promise you this. There will be battle and you will have a chance to shine.

I look at her with a concerned look on my face.

Y/N: (concerned) You sure you want me? I mean, you know nothing about me.

Edelgard: Yes, your background is a bit disquieting. Still, you've given me no reason to mistrust you. (smiles) You could have wrested yourself free of us from the start, but instead you chose to stay here at the monastery. You fought by our side and helped us save Monica.

Y/N's Mind: I'm sorry, "help" you save Monica? I DID save Monica!

Edelgard: (smiles) I think I can give you the benefit of the doubt.

Y/N's Mind: Well... at least she trusts me... I think?

Edelgard: But here's my true proposal. Ferdinand has informed me how uneasy you felt by what Kronya told you upon fighting her. There is a good chance that we will run into her in Enbarr.

My eyes widen.

Y/N: Kronya will be there?

Edelgard: Nothing is certain. But there is a good chance she will be there.

Y/N: Hmm... In that case, I'm in. Thanks. When do we leave?

Edelgard: We meet here in two hours. I suggest gathering your things. (smiles) And thank you.

Y/N: Cool. See you then.

She leaves. I rush to my ship.

Y/N's POV:

I'm in a camp that is similar to the one where I met everyone else, but this time we're in the Empire. Groot is on my shoulder. And much like the last mission, I told 2B to pilot the ship and follow me just in case. Besides, I might sleep in there. Just as Edelgard said, most of my classmates are here. But for some reason, Ferdinand, Bernadetta, Linhardt, and Caspar were all left behind. Groot turns to me.

Groot: I am Groot.

Y/N: (nods) Agreed. Let's ask around to see what kind of mission we're going on.
