Ship:

Y/N's POV:

I'm in the lounge with Ferdinand, Caspar, Bernadetta, and Linhardt. I just finished explaining to them everything that happened between leaving Garreg Mach up until now.

Linhardt: I see. So, to summarize. This whole time, Duke Aegir, along with Lord Arundel, has been conspiring against the Imperial Royal Family.

Caspar: Edelgard talked to both my father and Linhardt's, won over their loyalty, and beat Ferdinand's father to a bloody pulp?

Y/N: (nods) Pretty much, yeah.

Bernadetta: (shaking) N-Not to mention the fact that Lord Arundel's not even human?! What else? That you're from another world?

She nervously laughs upon saying that last part. But before I can respond...

2B: Sorry to interrupt, Captain. But Edelgard is right outside the ship's doors. She wishes to speak with you.

Y/N: Okay. Let her in.

Beep.

We hear a beep, and the ship's doors open. Edelgard enters the cargo bay and walks up to the lounge to see us. She turns to our friends sitting across from me.

Edelgard: I trust Y/N has informed you all of what transpired?

Ferdinand: (nods) He did... Including my father's role in all of this...

Edelgard: (sympathetic) I'm sorry, Ferdinand. But your father is in prison for a reason.

Ferdinand: ... Okay... Then we need to know. Why didn't you invite the rest of us, Edelgard?

Caspar: Yeah. If I had known, I woulda been more than happy to start throwing hands!

Linhardt: You did win over both my father and Caspar's. Don't you think having the four of us here would've made things easier?

Bernadetta: (terrified) H-Hey! Don't drag me into this!

Edelgard: Forgive me. But my plan couldn't have you here. Counts Hevring and Bergliez 'pretended' to fight for Duke Aegir. So, having Linhardt and Caspar here would've blown their cover.

Ferdinand: (irritated) Okay... That's why you didn't bring Linhardt or Caspar. But then why didn't me or Bernadetta come along?

Bernadetta: (terrified) A-Again! Don't drag me into this!

Edelgard: My apologies, Ferdinand. But Hubert suggested that we keep you in the dark, as our enemy was Duke Aegir, we couldn't afford to take any chances.

Ferdinand: ...

Edelgard: Anyway, Hubert wishes to speak with the four of you.

Caspar: What does he want?

Edelgard: Now that the four of you are up to speed, Hubert wishes to explain the current situation to you, and the future of the Empire. I have to speak with Y/N regarding another matter.

Linhardt: I guess we should see what this is about. C'mon.

Our four friends get up and leave the ship. Edelgard sits across from me and looks at me.

Y/N: Is something wrong, Edelgard?

Edelgard: You did promise you would tell me all about yourself after the battle.
