Y/N's POV:
Edelgard and I are walking through the dungeons of Enbarr. We're on our way to Kronya's cell.
Edelgard: So, Y/N. When do you suppose the Nova Corps will arrive with our supplies?
Y/N: Nova Prime said she'd call me about it. But I'd say about... next week? Give or take?
Edelgard: I see. That should give us time to inform the other lords of the Empire's new partnership with the Nova Corps. And hopefully, a clear path towards Fodlan's future.
We keep walking.
???: Hm?
We arrive at Kronya's cell.
Edelgard: Kronya.
Kronya: Edelgard...
She looks at me.
Kronya: I see Gun Boy's here too.
Y/N: I have a name, you know.
Edelgard turns to me.
Edelgard: You know what to do.
Y/N: (nods) Understood.
I reach into my bag and pull out my tablet.
Kronya: (suspicious) What's with the tablet?
Y/N: If you already know what this is, then this will be easy.
On my tablet, I tap on the recordings app. I then tap on the recording of the bandit battle mission from a while ago.
Y/N: Aaaaaaannnnnndd.
I slide to the clip that I want.
Y/N: Okay, Kronya. Remember this?
I press play.
Kronya: (shocked) They defeated a Demonic Beast?! Impossible! (pissed) Thales won't like this at all. You'll pay for this! You'll all pay!
I press pause. I look to Kronya who now looks nervous.
Kronya: (nervous) W-Wait...!
Y/N: Who's "Thales"? Your boss?
Kronya: (nervous) ...
Edelgard: Allow me to answer that for her, Y/N.
I turn to Edelgard.
Edelgard: Do you recall that shapeshifter from the battle in the palace? The one who vanished right after transformation and the one Kronya here was working for?
Y/N: Lord Arundel? Of course, I remember. Why do you ask?
Edelgard: That man is Thales. He killed my actual uncle long ago and stole his body. That's what his people do.
Y/N: (uneasy) So, in other words. If we didn't save Monica when we did...
We turn back to Kronya.
Kronya: ...
Edelgard: Yes. Kronya here would've killed her and took her place. Just as Thales did with my uncle.
Kronya: Hmph. If you know that much. Then what's the point in talking to me?
Edelgard: I've been to Shambhala. Technologically advanced as it may be over there, the technology you and your people were using during the battle far surpasses that.
