Enbarr Palace Dungeon:
Y/N's POV:
After flying to Enbarr on my ship. My friends and I just enter the palace through a secret passage. Edelgard turns to us.
Edelgard: These are your instructions. I imagine they may not come as a surprise to many of you. For some time now, Enbarr Palace has been infested with the same darkness you saw in Tomas. They have made a puppet of the emperor, and plot with disloyal subjects to seize control of the Empire. Our objective is to stamp these traitors out, seize the palace, and reclaim the Empire for our own.
Dorothea: (concerned) Um, Edie? Like I said right before we left Y/N's ship, there are over a thousand of enemy units in there, and there are only SEVEN of us. What you're asking sounds kind of... impossible. I don't like those odds.
Petra: (concerned) The Empire is having many soldiers. Perhaps you could be changing their minds?
Hubert: Those who can be won over will be. And the realization they are fighting the Imperial princess out to dull the others' blades. We have also secured the cooperation of several nobles inside the palace.
Monica: Very impressive, Your Highness. And very you. I suppose all that remains is to head inside and take care of business.
Y/N: (smiles) Just you watch. We'll take 'em all down and have the bards singing out names by nightfall.
Petra seems to like that.
Edelgard: We'll infiltrate the palace through the rear gate, then apprehend Lord Arundel and Duke Aegir.
Monica: Your Highness. What about Kronya?
Edelgard: We will apprehend Kronya too. Y/N and I both have questions for her.
She looks to the rest of us.
Edelgard: From there, we'll secure the palace's strategic positions, eliminating all resistance we encounter along the way.
Petra: If that is our plan, then time cannot be wasted.
We hear commotion upstairs.
Dorothea: You can hear them scrambling in the palace from here. Let's not wait for them to find their bearings.
Monica turns to Edelgard.
Monica: Lead the way, Your Highness! Oh, and make sure to keep her safe, Hubert. You know every square inch of that place, after all.
Hubert turns to Monica.
Hubert: Just mind you don't fall prey to your own distractions.
Edelgard: (determined) These villains have had free run of my house for too long! Today, I take it all back!
RIIIING! RIIIIIING!
Right before she can say anything else, 2B rings us all up on our watches. We answer.
Y/N: What's up, 2B?
2B: Sorry to interrupt, Captain and the Captain's friends. But there is a group of enemy soldiers approaching all of you.
We hear footsteps running toward us.
Soldier: STOP RIGHT THERE!
Edelgard: (determined) Here they come! Everyone! Get ready!
We all get out weapons out, and we start advancing. The battle begins.
Monica: It was easy enough slipping in the back. The Knights of Serios' unexpected visit must've thrown the court into disarray.
