Jackson's POV:
The next day, after an entertaining day at the beach, Angela and I went on a date. Like any other date, it was great and we both had a fantastic time, especially when I had asked Angela out to prom. But now, it was finally Monday, which meant that we were all back to school. The good thing about today is that it is sunny. Lunchtime came around and I met up with Angela, Bella, and Jessica at the lunch tables outside.
"They're not here," I hear Jessica tell Bella, who seems to be looking around for the Cullens, as I sit down.
"So, they just ditch?" Bella asked.
"No. Um, whenever the weather's nice, Dr. and Mrs. Cullen take them hiking or camping. I tried that out on my parents, but it didn't work out," Jessica
"Hey. Jackson asked me out to the prom yesterday when we went out on our date yesterday," Angela said, excitedly.
"I thought that you both were planning on not going," Bella said.
"Why would we not attend prom?" Angela asked.
"It's just you never mentioned going to the prom," Bella explained.
"That's because the discussion on whether or not we go to the prom is between Angela and me. We don't need to discuss it with anyone else," I say.
"We need to go to Port Angeles to get all the good dresses, before the run out," Jessica said, changing the subject.
"Port Angeles? Can I come?" Bella asked and I looked at her, weirdly.
"Uh, yeah. I need your opinion," Angela said.
"Do you three need a ride?" I asked as the bell rang.
"They can come with me. Plus, you can't see Angela's prom dress," Jessica said.
"Besides, you have that thing with your uncle's friend after school. You promised that you were going to help him today," Angela said.

After school, I dropped my belongings at home. then I went to meet up with Waylon. But before going to the dock, I went to fill up my car with gas. After I was done filling up my car with gas, I quickly went to the dock. When I arrived at the dock, I tried to call Waylon to let him know that I had arrived, but he was not answering his phone calls, he must be listening to music. I got out of the car and went straight to his boat. As I was approaching his boat, I heard some ruckus going on. What I saw was something that I did not expect. Waylon was getting attacked. I don't know 'what happened, but the next thing I know is that I transformed into this huge wolf. Because of this, the two men and the woman who was attacking Waylon looked at me, in shock and they began to run. Without any hesitation, I began to run after the three, but I didn't get that far. Because of this, I ran back to the dock, and lucky for me, I had a spare change of clothes in the car. I, quickly, changed and I got my phone to call for an ambulance and the police. With all the craziness with the police, I didn't notice that Billy and Charlie were approaching me.
"Jackson, what happened?" Charlie asked me.
"Like I said to the police, I only saw the back of their heads. It was two men and a woman. I didn't see where they went, so I went to check on Waylon and knew that I had to call the police. I just wished that I got here earlier and prevented this from happening," I answered, which made Charlie hug me.
"I'm glad you didn't, or else there would have been two funerals, instead of one. Take Billy home, then go straight home and rest as much as possible," He tells me, before going back to the crime scene.
I got Billy in the car and for the most part, we both were quiet.
"I hope you know that I know that you didn't tell Charlie the full truth. I know what you're hiding," Billy said.
"And what is that?" I asked.
"The legends that I have told you and Jacob about shifters are true," Billy answered.
"How did you know?" I asked.
"I know the signs. Plus, you come from a long line of chiefs, due to your mother's and my family heritage," Billy asked.
"Are there others?" I asked.
"So far, just you. But the elders and I suspect that Sam Uley is next. Because you are the first one to shift, you are the alpha," Billy answered.
"You know, when Jacob shifts and you know that he will, he's going to want to be alpha. Plus, it doesn't help that he's hard-headed and doesn't listen. When it comes to Bella, he's going to have tunnel vision for her and would not stop," I say.
"If it was Jacob that phased first, then he would've been made alpha. But since you are the first in the Black family to phase, Jacob won't be able to take his place as alpha," Billy said.
A lot has happened in the last few hours, that my head is spinning.
