BELLA'S POV:
I planned to confront him and demand to know what his problem was.
But he never showed.
And the next day, another no-show.
More days passed.
Things were getting a little strange.
JACKSON'S POV:
The next few days, I noticed that Edward disappeared and on top of that, there were a bunch of people being killed by an animal. Soon enough, Edward came to school and was looking at my cousin, which made me glare at him.
"Babe, you okay?" I hear Angela ask me when we are going inside for class.
"Edward keeps looking at my cousin and I don't like it. Looks like the beginning of an obsession," I answered her when we passed the Cullen family.
"In case you haven't noticed Jackson, Bella was looking for him and kept staring at the Cullen's table during lunch" Angela pointed out when we reached Angela's classroom.
"Out of all the people in this town, they take an interest in each other" I quietly mumble, which makes Angela laugh.
"You know a lot of people said the same thing about us when we got together, especially my parents," Angela tells me, which was true.
A lot of people wondered why Angela was with me when we got together, which shocked us.
"But that's different," I tell my girlfriend.
"How?" Angela asked, laughing.
"We've known each other since we were kids and people that know us know how we are with each other. You keep me sane and I am your protector. But with Edward and Bella, they don't even know each other and they act like they need each other and they can't live without each other. I can only imagine how toxic they'll potentially become if they ever get together," I answer, truthfully.
Then the bell rang, which made us say our goodbyes. On my way to my class, I hear someone call me and to my surprise, I see it's Edward Cullen.
"What do you want, Cullen?" I asked, annoyed.
"I want you to know that I have no intention of harming Bella" Edward answered.
"Listen, Edward, I don't like you and I never will," I told him, angrily.
"But you don't even know me," Edward said, defensively.
"First of all, you were telling my girlfriend to keep me away from you and involving her in something that doesn't involve her, which pissed me off. Second of all, you made my cousin feel bad about herself on her first day here, which pissed me off even more. That gives me enough reason to hate you," I tell him before walking away to head to my class.
LATER ON THAT DAY:
"How was your day, gorgeous?" I asked Angela as we walked towards my car which was parked next to Bella's car.
"It was long, I missed you" Angela answered as she wrapped an arm around my waist.
I was about to say something until we heard a big smash and I saw that Tyler's car hit Bella's car, then we rushed towards the accident to check on Bella.
After a few minutes, the ambulance arrived.
"Babe, I'll take your car to the hospital and you go with Bella in the ambulance," Angela tells me.
"Are you sure?" I asked my girlfriend.
"Yes. Plus, you're in no condition to drive. I'll meet you there," she tells me before pushing me into the ambulance.
AT THE HOSPITAL:
I came with Bella in the ambulance and Angela came in my car to the hospital and we're currently waiting for the doctor to clear Bella to go home.
"You guys don't have to be here," Bella tells me and Angela.
"Too bad, we're staying here," I tell Bella, then my uncle Charlie came bursting through the door and went straight to Bella.
"Thank you, guys, for being with Bella, the both of you can wait outside if you want," Charlie tells us.
We both nodded and we went to the hall to wait for Charlie and Bella.
"How are you?" Angela asked me.
"I'm alright, just drained" I answered, and then the both of us hugged.
