JACKSON'S POV:

After the confrontation with Edward, Angela and I go to the diner so that we can do our homework and have our date there. Thankfully, we didn't have a lot of homework and we were able to finish just after we finished ordering our food.

"Besides the whole thing with Edward, how was your day?" Angela asked me when our food arrived.

"It was alright, but you know the people that go to our school. They were talking about the arrival of my cousin in the middle of the semester" I answered.

"She's nice by the way" Angela added on.

"She is, but she's like my Uncle Charlie. Very awkward when meeting people and when getting compliments" I said, which made her laugh.

"You're the same way" Angela exclaimed with a smile on her face.

"No I'm not, I just don't know how to compliment people and I love making people uncomfortable with how blunt I can be," I said, which made Angela laugh even more.

"It's the same thing," Angela said while laughing.

We continued to joke around and then the conversation turned serious.

"What are you going to do when you graduate?" Angela asked.

"I don't know, but one thing for sure is that I'm staying here in Forks with Charlie and you. Plus, I have a feeling that with Bella here, I feel like things are going to change and possibly complicate things for everyone here," I answered Angela, truthfully.

"Which brings me to my next question, what would happen to us when you graduate since I still have one more year in school?" Angela asked with a concerned look on her face.

"Angela, I love you and I don't see a future without you in it. I'm not going to lie, it's to be hard since we are used to seeing each other every day, but we'll make it work" I answered.

"Jackson, you can't promise me that" Angela exclaimed with tears in her eyes.

"Angela, you're stuck with me, no matter what, and me graduating in a couple of months isn't going to change the fact that I don't want to be anywhere that isn't by your side," I said before getting up to sit next to her and hug her.

"I love you, Jackson," Angela said quietly, putting her head on my shoulder.

" I love you too, Angela" I replied.
