Ch. 15 Cullens leave and Bella's Depressed

Jackson's POV:

The next day, I got Carlisle's call saying he needed to talk and I agreed to meet him. Fortunately, I saw my right hand, Sam Uley, walking in my front yard.

"Hey, Sam, are Paul and Jared are on their patrols?" I asked.

"Yes, they are," Sam answered.

"Good. I need you to come with me, we're going to the Cullen household," I say.

"Why?" He asked.

"Carlisle asked me to come over, it sounded urgent," I answered before we both got in the car and took off.

"Alright, what do you all want to talk about?" I asked.

"We're leaving town because people are starting to notice that I'm not aging," Carlisle answered, but I knew there was more to the story.

"Cut the bullshit, your aging has nothing to do with it. Now, tell us what's going on," I say.

"We want Bella to live a normal life," Edward said and I knew he was indicating what happened last night.

"You should've thought of that before you started to get involved with her a few months ago and decided to let her discover what you truly are," Sam said.

"Speaking of which, are you going to tell her what Carlisle told me and take her with you or are you going to break up with her?" I asked.

"I'm breaking up with her and yes," Edward answered.

"Where are you breaking up with her?" I asked.

"At you're house," Edward answered.

"In case you haven't noticed, because I know that you've been sneaking into Bella's room since you both started dating, that her house is no longer the place that I lived in since I graduated high school. It's funny that you all say that you don't or didn't want to ruin her life, but you forget that there are people around her that your relationship put in danger. I'm a prime example of that. Because of you all, I don't know if I can give my imprint a somewhat normal life. I don't know if I can give her kids after she graduates college and we get married. Who knows if I am immortal or if I can grow old with the love of my life because of your relationship with Bella and this family? You all took that away from me and I can never forgive you all for that. And the worst part of this is that you both believe that you both believe that you both can't live without each other and can't do anything without each other," I say

"We didn't mean to put you in any harm," Esme said.

"That doesn't help, it already happened and it's going to continue to do so," I said before Sam and I walked outside.

"Paul and Jared are going to have a break for a few hours, then we're patrolling Charlie's house. I have a feeling that he's going to break up with her in the woods surrounding his house," I tell Sam.

"How can be so sure?" Sam asked.

"Well, knowing her, she would try to follow her, and the best way for her not to follow him is to end things in an area where she can't easily follow him and she would easily get lost. Besides, they have a thing for hanging out in the forest," I answered.

After a couple of hours later and the pack surrounded the house, I see Bella arriving and parking her truck. After she got out her truck and noticed that Edward was there, Bella walked towards him.

"Hey," Bella greeted her boyfriend.

"Come take a walk with me," Edward tells her before they both walked towards the forest.

'I have spotted them. Walk towards to where I'm at and let's surround them.' I said through the wolf telepathy and they confirmed to doing it.

"We have to leave to town. People are starting to notice that Carlisle that he isn't aging," Edward tells Bella.

"I have to figure out what I have to tell Charlie," Bella started off and she looked in Edward's direction, but she noticed that he was looking down.

"When you say we?" Bella asked.

"I mean my family and myself," Edward answered.

"Edward, what happened with Jasper, it's nothing," Bella tried to explain.

"You're right. It was nothing. Nothing but what I always expected and nothing compared to what could have happened. You just belong in my world, Bella," Edward said.

"And Jackson does?" Bella asked.

"He was a casualty in our relationship," Edward said.

"I belong with you," Bella argued.

"No, you don't," Edward said.

"I'm coming," Bella said.

"Bella, I don't want you to come," Edward tells her.

"You don't want me?" Bella asked.

"No," Edward answered.

"That changes things. A lot," Bella said.

"But if it's not too much to ask, can you just promise me something? Don't do anything reckless, for Charlie's sake. And I'll promise you something in return. This is the last time that you'll ever see me. I won't come back and you can go on with your life without any interference from me. It'll be like, they never existed, I promise" Edward tells Bella.

"If this is about my soul, take it. I don't want it without you," Bella said.

"It's not about your soul. You're just not good for me," Edward explained.

"Not good enough for you?" Belles asked.

"I'm just sorry that I let this go on for so long," Edward said.

After Bella attempts to plead with him, Edward said his goodbyes and took off. After Bella snapped from her daze, she tried to go after him, but couldn't because of his vampiric speed. At some point, she stopped and laid down.

'What should we do?' Paul asked.

'You three go home. We need to be well rested for whatever is going happen in the aftermath of all this' I say before shifting back to my human form and took off running to Charlie's house. When I arrived, I see him coming out of the house in a panic.

"Charlie!" I called out.

"What happened?" He asked when he saw Bella asleep in my arms.

"Edward happened. I saw them both go into the woods and when I reached them, I hear Edward break up with her and was about to leave her there by herself. She tripped and ended up with her crying herself to sleep, so I brought her back," I answered.

Charlie picked her up from my arms and he took her to her room.

Over the last few months, it has been challenging. Not only have I been helping out Charlie with Bella because she's acting like a zombie in her room, but she yells nonstop in her sleep and it prevents Charlie from having a full nights. On top of that, we have Victoria popping up and causing trouble.

What we didn't know what was coming with the Cullens leaving and Bella's erratic behavior was going to bring.
