i decided pre-gaming with the rest of our friends would be the best way to make sure i actually have fun this evening. i was no longer afraid to hangout with chan -- but i still hadn't been around a huge crowd of people i didn't know too well. despite this, i really wanted to have fun.
"cheers" we all laughed, taking a shot of whatever clear liquid was in the bottle felix brought over. i was all dressed and becoming slightly irritated-- chan was nowhere to be found. i scanned my outfit in the mirror.
the more time i spent at this school, the more comfortable i started to be with my appreance. when i first arrived i was worried i had to keep my act up. i wore strictly all black, kept my head down, and made myself keep all conversations to a minimum.
as the semester gets closer to the end i'm thankful that i decided to do something daring on that fateful day. if i hadn't i would've never met han. he's shown me what true friendship is-- and he's also the reason i've even made progress with chan.
i turn to him with a cheesy smile. "what did i do?" han raises an eyebrow. "nothing, nothing" i smile. when i look up chan finally arrived. "hey baby, sorry i'm late" he pouted before pecking my lips. the rest of our friends started yelling and cheering, making us roll our eyes.
"lets just get out of here, i promised yeonjun i'd help him with something"
soobin's dorm wasn't far from mine so it wasn't long before we arrived. when he opened the door chan hugged him. before i could even ask about how they knew each other, yeonjun dragged me inside.
"i'm so glad you're here! do i look okay?" he asked, flattening his shirt. "you look-- oh my god he's looking over here" i whisper to him. "really?" yeonjun asks, smiling. i turn slightly to get a better look.
soobin is turned to look directly at yeonjun while chan mutters something to him. i can't try to guess what it is because soobin lowers himself to chan's height so he can whisper to him discreetly.
"oh shit, oh shit--" i turn back around to yeonjun. "they're both coming over here"
"hey" soobin says to yeonjun. i slowly back away, but i can feel chan's arms wrap around my waist. "can i help you?" i ask, turning to face him. "don't act like you don't like it"
in less than fifteen minutes the dorm is packed. i knew soobin was popular, but this party had nearly everyone from our campus. i had another beer and i was finally starting to feel the alcohol catch up with me. i stumbled over to chan, slipping myself in his lap.
"hyungggg~" i smile. "yes?" he replied. "you look really good tonight.." i slurred. "oh.. thank you" he answers shyly, ignoring laughs from lee know and hyunjin. "maybe you and i should get out of here?" i attempt to whisper, but it's loud enough for most of our friends to hear.
chan gently pecked my lips, shaking his head. "you're drunk, bin" i whined, shaking my head. "i-i'm not drunk! just tipsy!" i manage to hiccup out. chan laughs, cupping my face. "what if i take you for food instead? would you like that, baby?" he asks.
"yes sir!" i giggle, taking another swig of the beer. chan removes the beer from my hands and leads us to the exit. "do you need us to come with you?" they asked, nearly all in unison. "no it's fine" chan smiled. "such a good boyfriend" lee know snickered, causing the rest of our friends to join in the taunting.
"channie is my boyfriend? i have such a sweet boyfriend!" i yell. luckily the music is too loud for anyone else to hear how insane i sound. chan walks me to his car and helps me in the passenger seat to drive us to a late night ramen spot.
"i thought you might be hungry" he smiles.
