I listened to Rosemary by Deftones we writing. If you want to have a song during the song.
"So I think that you need to know the history of vampires and witches. Because it's the most important," Hayley says.
"Please don't give the long version, we don't need a 300-year explanation," Bonnie says.
I giggle and Hayley makes a shocked expression.
"Bonnie, as if I would," Hayley says placing her hand over her heart.
"Long story short. The promise that Gerad has with Bonnie's great great great..well..whatever it is keeps our race close to the vampires. But as you can tell, there are more lineages. Not all of them feel like they should be close to vampires," Hayley says.
"I don't even know if I should be," Bonnie chimes in.
"Why," I ask looking at her.
Bonnie looks towards her hands seeing picked skin around her fingernails before she curls them in.
"Because of the other night with me," I say piecing it together. I look back at her fingers and they look fresh like she was recently anxious.
"You have to understand, that is not something that I like to do. You seem like a nice girl, but when we have direct order I have no choice," Bonnie says with a sympathetic tone.
I reach out and grab her hand squeezing it, hoping that she will stop picking at her skin. When our hands connect she jerks back like I shocked her.
I gasp ripping my hand back. She gives me a face that is haunted and downright scared of me.
"What...what are you," Bonnie says holding her hand close to her chest.
"Bonnie? What is it," Hayley says reaching towards her, and before Hayley can place a hand on her she stands up from the bed not breaking eye contact with me.
"I...I'm sorry I didn't mean anything by it," I say feeling unsure and on display.
Bonnie backs up towards the door and flees faster than a bat out of hell and Hayley is already on her feet. I looked up at her in a panic.
"Wait here. I am going to see what she saw. She has... visions. Past and present, sometimes they are truthful, sometimes not. So don't be too alarmed," Hayley says. I think more to reassure herself.
"You don't have to lie to me, Hayley. Whatever she saw wasn't good," I say folding my arms onto my lap.
"I...fuck. I honestly don't know. But whatever it is we will figure it out ok? I just need to find out what it was," Hayley says with a soft smile, "I put a protection spell over your room. So only people you allow in will be able to enter. But with that, once you allow them in it's free rain so only allow people you really want in."
"Hayley," I say as she reaches for the handle of the door. She turns around and looks at me, already telling me my suspicion but I need to hear her say it.
"Did... you didn't put the protection spell on the room out of the goodness of your heart did you," I say.
She sighs tightening her grip on the door handle and looking down towards it before locking eyes on me again.
"He really isn't as bad as you think. But my advice, girl to girl. Don't trust anyone here fully. Even Bonnie and I," she says before yanking the door open and swiftly making her exit.

After three hours of sitting in this stuffy room, I became stir-crazy. Bonnie and Hayley haven't come back yet, so I guess Hayley's advice isn't a bad one to listen to. I don't know why Gerard told her to give me this stupid protection spell, I feel like everyone treats me like the plague.
