' Wyatt's pov  '+

I slammed my fist on my desk, making some of the files drop to the floor. I looked down, seeing the files that had fallen, scattered across the dark mahogany wood. I was pissed. Today was just going awful. A scout opened the door to my office.

"Sir?" The timid voice of a woman said.

"What the hell do you need now," I snarled. "Can't you see I'm busy."

"I apologize, but you said to come get you when your lunch was ready." She said, closing the door just before finishing her sentence. I sat down, resting my face in my palms when my office door flew open.

"Alright, what the hell!" I let out a low toned growl, looking up to see my scout James completely out of breath. The small man was hunched over his short blonde hair covering his eyes.

"What is it, James?" I said in an annoyed tone as I fixed the numerous files that lay upon my desk.

"They *gasp* have *gasp*" James struggled to get any words out of his putrid little mouth.

"Spit it out, James, who has what?" I said, standing up, ready to pummel the words out of him myself. I had no time for this foolish business when I was already swamped with work. I already had too many people coming in from their assignments ready to give me reports.

"The targets have Eos!" He said in a soft, breathless tone."

"What do you mean they have Eos.." I said, staring at him as though I was going to take his soul from his body.

"She was in a cage, covered in blood. I didn't know what else to do without them knowing I was a spy." James breath had returned, building in his sentence as he spoke. His head hung low, eyes to the floor.

"Get everyone available. Where are they keeping her." I said, pushing the files off my desk and grabbing a map from my drawer. James came over and pointed to the old hideout that the targets had.

"I'm pretty sure they might move her." James said quickly. "They never keep captives in one spot for too long, but I'm not high enough in the ranks to know the other places." I sat down and sighed, rubbing my temples as James left to gather troops to bring back my sweet, precious angel. Before I could even sigh to myself, my office door swung open once more.

"I swear to God James if you don't stop   barging in i -" I froze seeing Tara cut and bloody.

"Don't worry, not all of the blood is mine." She said, noticing my off expression. "They have Eos. We need to go quickly. They guards that had me said they were taking her to a place near the lake."

She looked at me as if I was supposed to jump up and run out the door. I mumbled a low curse under my breath, walking out of my office and to our weapons facility. As I approached the large room, I turned toward the keypad typing in the numbers aggressively, attempting to control my burning anger. I grabbed my gun and my back holster, throwing it over top of my shoulder. As I laced my leg holster, loading it with a pistol, knives, and a few poison darts, I walked out my anger fuming. I snapped my fingers at a group on my highest ranked members, James had gathered. I couldn't afford for this to go sideways in any way. We loaded into a truck, a few men sitting in the bed of the truck as spotters.

"Park the car." I said with no emotion. I was ready to make the person who had hurt my angel live a life of suffrage.

"Well, don't just stand there, you idiots. Go look." I pointed off into the distance. Each person partnered with at least one other, leaving me to look by myself. I would find Eos if it killed me. Nothing could keep me from her. Especially a target.
