+' Eos pov '+
I sat in Wyatts office coloring at his desk. I looked up a few times to see Wyatt going over a few files as we waited for people to come back and give their reports. My hand crept down to the drawer, opening it to reveal many snacks and coloring supplies. I wiggled around in my seat with joy as I grabbed my colored pencils, placing the box of markers in their place. I looked down in the drawer and grabbed a fruit snack setting it next to my coloring book. I ripped open the fruit snacks grabbing a few coloring pencils out of the case and placing them on the table. A fruit snacks plopped in my mouth as the door opened and a small group of our spy's came in to give Wyatt information.
I finally finished my drawing as I turned to see Wyatt still talking with the same group of people. My drawing sat flat on the desk while I put my coloring supplies away. My head quickly turned as someone burst through the door causing a loud thud with the door colliding with the wall. All eyes turned to see Dustin standing in the doorway.
"Lydia your group can go." Wyatt said in a harsh tone.
It was obvious he was upset and I can imagine why with Dustin barging in like that. I knew he was one of our very few undercover recruits since it was a fairly new position we had decided to add. It required an intense level of training and Dustin had came out at the top of his class. "What Dustin?" Wyatt turned to his filing cabinet, grabbing a large file before placing in on his desk next to my drawing.
" I found out some information but I would like to request to go back and double check it just to make sure I did not get any thing wrong." Dustin's toned seemed slightly suspicious.
"You have never had a problem with information before why are you having one now?" Wyatt raised an eyebrow.I sat eating my fruit snacks watching their conversation grow more and more tense as they spoke before my mouth dropped open.
"I am sick of hearing your bull shit, be back by dusk." Wyatt angrily grabbed the file off of his desk and threw it into the filing cabinet before slamming it shut.
Dustin quickly left the room, not giving any attention to Wyatt's actions. Usually people would have been scared by Wyatt actions, they even made me jump quite a bit. I looked over at Wyatt before opening my mouth, my words not coming out. I could sense the suspicion by the way he leaned on the desk.
"Want to see my drawing?" I lifted the mood with a smile before sliding my coloring book towards Wyatt. Wyatt let a soft smile line his face before leaning closer to me to kiss the top of my head. I put my coloring book away before grabbing Wyatt's hand, leading him to the couch. We clicked through a few movies before coming across the horror section. We eventually clicked on a serial killer documentary. I quickly got up and grabbed some popcorn before coming back to the show.
Narrator of documentary: He had gone back to his victim, tying her limbs down one by one. He turned to the table looking over the instruments. His eyes wandered over them looking from the chainsaw to the knives. He picked up a knife and began cutting her limbs off slowly.
"Use the chainsaw!" I screamed. I couldn't believe how stupid some serial killers were. This guy was even in a time rush.
I looked over to see Wyatt looking at me with his eyes extremely wide.
"What?" My voice almost cracked before returning to its normal state as I screamedat the tv once more, "Run you stupid bastard! Run!"
Wyatt let out a small chuckle before returning to the tv himself. Archer ran in the room hunching himself over holding his hand onto his knees as if he couldn't breath.
"What now Archer?" Wyatt paused our show.
"Hey! It was getting to the good part, he was almost done dismembering her!" My voice snarled upset as I shoved popcorn into my mouth.
"Dustin is working with the Targets." Archer blurted out before laying on the floor.
"What do you mean?" Wyatt stood up dropping the remote.
Archer quickly rummaged through his pockets grabbing his phone. He clicked it a few times before handing Wyatt the phone. I leaned over looking at Archer's phone as Wyatt hit play. Dustin appeared on the screen, meeting with another woman.
Dustin: "Wyatt is being stubborn I can't get much information off of him."
Woman: "Well who is close to him, they could be of use to us."
Dustin: "That Eos chick, but Wyatt never lets her out of his sight."
Woman: "Well figure it out and if you have to take some of our members and kill her."Dustin: "Yes ma'am. I need to get back soon before Wyatt notices. I also need some false information to give him."
The woman handed Dustin a file. He scanned through it and wrote a few things before giving the woman a kiss and walked off camera.
Wyatt handed Archer back the phone.
"We need to do something about this." I stood up, setting my bowl of popcorn on the table.
"Yeah, he should be back soon. I left as soon as I took the video." Archer pulled himself off the floor.
"I guess he will be having a talk with us as soon as he gets back." Wyatt turned the tv off and sat down, leaning into the couch. I sat next to Wyatt, leaning into him as I went on my phone and scrolled through TikTok.
