Tara made the hot chocolate quickly before grabbing the cup and nudging her head towards the door. I quickly ran ahead of her, into the living room to see Archer in his normal clothes. I was a little upset he wasn't in the pink dress, it was quite amusing. As Tara handed Archer his hot chocolate I went up to Wyatt, wrapping myself in his arms. He grabbed me tightly, pulling me into his black jacket. He was so warm, it was comforting. I loved being close to him and I couldn't imagine being apart from him. As I sat in Wyatt's arms I heard the door fly open.

"Daddy!" Valentine screamed before running into the man's arms.

There stood my brother; a tall, muscular man with dark brown hair and green eyes. A scar laced his face, drawing your eyes towards it. I turned my head to see him hugging Valentine, staring at me and Wyatt.

"Roman..?" I said, gently pulling away from Wyatt.

"Eos, it has been a while hasn't it." He said as he stroked his daughters hair.

I stood there almost in shock before a sense of rage came over me.

"You roach, how could you leave me and mom." I raised my voice at him, causing him to nudge Valentine towards Tara. I took off my shoe and chucked it at him, hitting him in his chest.

"Aye, your the roach." He said, his eyebrows tilting inward.

"Fine." I huffed, returning back to Wyatt's arms as he stared down my brother.

Roman turned to Valentine as he knelt down. Valentine ran to him, wrapping her arms around him.

"Ready to go home Vee?" He said with a smile as he held her tightly. Valentine nodded as my brother picked her up.

"Good bye, Eos." He said with a smile before dropping a small paper onto the  couch and walking out the door.

I picked up the small paper, seeing his number written on it along with the words 'your favorite roach'. My brother was truly one of a kind.

"Alright, it is still early and we need to hand out assignments before it hits noon." Wyatt said, lifting me up a bit, setting me on the couch. He walked over to his office, returning with a hand full of files. Before we knew it most of the mafia members began to fill the room. They grew silent at the sound of Wyatt beginning to tap his foot.

"Alright people lets get this done with." Wyatt said scanning through his files. "Archer, Arrow, Panda, your on collecting targets tonight.""Lucy, Brett, Opal, Ronald, your on scout duty." He held one last file looking around.

"Tara, Eos, your on spying tonight." He handed us the file, which consisted of only a few papers.

"Everyone else is on regular patrol, keep your eyes peeled." Wyatt took a seat next to me.

Tara and I sat looking through the file. It looked like there were a few papers for us to fill out about the targets numbers and training status. We sadly didn't have any hints as to any specific person to look for other than to find out who the new leader was.

"Tara are you driving or am I?" I asked curiously, knowing I hated to drive. "I want too!" Tara said pulling her keys out of her pocket and spinning them around her finger.

I was happy she wanted to drive, I loved being able to sit in the passenger seat and pick out music.

Tara and I wandered off to her Jeep, beginning to drive off towards our usual spot we used to spy. We drove for a while as I continued to pick songs from numerous genres. I turned the volume down noticing how close we were to our parking spot. We usually parked in the woods so our vehicles had some coverage and wouldn't be spotted. We quietly got out the vehicle being sure to grab all of our things. We knew not to talk until we go to the spot. You never knew what could happen or who could be watching you at any given moment. We took a few turns before getting to our spot.

"Finally." Tara sighed setting her stuff down.

"No kidding, that took absolutely forever." I set my stuff down next to her before I grabbed out a notebook and pencil. I had already memorized what we had needed to write down before we left.

"Binoculars?" Tara held out a hand.

I reached into her bag and pulled out her binoculars, handing them to her. I then proceeded to grab mine before crawling to my stomach next to Tara.

"How many members are ya thinking?" I asked picking up my pen. "Maybe 40 something, they keep coming in and out of the building so it's hard to count." She fixed the visuals on her binoculars as she mouthed out numbers.

I wrote down the number 40 and the proceeded to add a bit on notes next to it. We had sat there for a few hours before the targets had begun training. We watched the targets as they headed to a training field, grabbing different types of weapons and equipment. They all trained about the same; doing intense warm ups, paired training, and a numerous amount of tests. I frantically wrote down the information as Tara began to explain what the training consisted of. We had to wait until we found out who their leader was before we would be able to leave.

"Snack?" I held out a protein bar."Thank you." Tara said, happily grabbing it.

The sun began to set as we continued to watch the targets before a tall, slim man stepped onto the field. All the targets stopped and stood in front of the man before they bowed. As the man turned his auburn hair glistened in the setting sun. I sat there thinking before I realized who it was.

"That's Riot...." I said, my binoculars falling from my hands.

"You mean your sister's boyfriend?" Tara said setting her binoculars down.

I quickly picked up my pen and wrote down everything I knew about him. With my sister out of the picture I knew there was nothing holding this guy back from whatever evil was held behind his dark blue eyes. I didn't want to know what kind of secrets he had.

Tara and I turned back looking at the interactions between the targets and their boss. A small male ran up to Riot. He almost looked like Boaz, a male I used to know from when I was a target. Before we knew it Riot turned and looked in our direction, causing us to duck down. We quickly headed out after that, not wanting to get caught.

~ BACK AT THE BASE~

Tara and I ran up to Wyatt handing him the file and explaining what we saw. As Wyatt scanned over the file he sent us away as a new group came in with more information. "Tara?" I said as we walked off.

"Yes, Eos?" Tara turned towards me.

"Do you feel like we were being watched while we were out?" I said almost pacing. I was nervous, it felt like we were being watched while we were on our mission.

"I'm not sure." Tara said scratching her head.

Hopefully we weren't being spied on, although I wouldn't be surprised if we were. It would truly only be a matter of time.
