Namra typed and sent her last message as a half zombie, there was a small pint of human blood in her stream. She used those final heartbeats to warn Suhyeok that she was coming for him. She previously disposed Onjo's bones at a lake near the motel and walked till she sensed that Suhyeok was close by.

Suhyeok's blood scent lingered on Namra's nose. The fresh coppery scent transformed into a visible figure. Namra recognized him instantly and she reacted negatively. She charged at Suhyeok, tackling him to the ground. "Namra get off me!" Suhyeok exclaimed, struggling to free himself from her strong grasp. Namra growled and refused to set him free. They were inches apart. Namra persisted on clawing his face with her semi-long nails and clenching her teeth, motioning that she was going to consume him. Suhyeok tried kicking his foot up to force Namra back. Namra moaned. Suhyeok's defensive action malfunctioned, Namra sat on top of him again, undefeated and unstoppable. Suhyeok's legs were getting numb from the pressure Namra exceeded on him. His whole body weakened.

Chanmi coincidentally, was in the site. Originally, she was searching for the anonymous person. She wanted to find out if the anonymous person would dare to kill her and if she would be capable of killing him herself. She appeared in the same street as Namra and Sooheon. In her peripheral, she could see them grappling. Chanmi hurried to them. Without uttering a word, Chanmi pulled Namra by the waist. In response to Chanmi's rapid movement, Namra scratched Chanmi's hand. Chanmi ignored her bleeding hand and pulled Namra intensely. The intensity in Chanmi's pull was stronger than the strength Namra had on keeping Sooheon on the ground. Sooheon and Namra were ultimately apart but the separation didn't do enough for them.

Gi Osung hid at a corner of a building, he witnessed the entire commotion. He wasn't there to make peace with the group, he wanted to be an instigator, troublesome, and maddening. The person who agitated Chanmi behind a screen. He aimed his pistol at Chanmi and fired three gunshots. Every bullet hit her back, resulting in her falling on the ground. "Chanmi!" Sooheon jerked her body, trying to keep her awake and alive. "Help!" Sooheon cried.

Namra paused, Suhyeok's scent ceased to lure her. Ahead, she detected the presence of an infrared figure. Figures were the single beings that Namra could see, even though her eyes were overflowed with blood. Infrared vision was one of the effects that the zombie virus gave her. It was rather a gift amidst the other side effects she encountered. Namra squinted her eyes and realized that the infrared figure was watching them from a building farther away. The infrared figure, Gi Osung perceived Namra's stare and hid against the building's wall once more. Namra raced towards the building, unaware of the armed figure. In fear of Namra advancing nearer, Gi Osung pulled the trigger of his pistol and shot Namra. The bullet hit her in her right leg. Namra groaned and bled out. "We've received calls about gunshots in the area, you need to come with me sir."
