Two - Traveller

Colin had been travelling with his company for four years on and off. After university, he found his way into the family business. After his father passed away he left all the children an equal share in his hotel empire, Bridge Hotels. Anthony was CEO, Benedict was more 'a silent' partner, however he did enjoy the designing, and well Colin wanted to expand it. The girls wanted nothing to do with it, just the regular income. They all had plans for their own careers. Solicitor's, scientists and doctors seemed to be the route for the Bridgerton women.

Colin had managed to facilitate three new hotels, over the past four years, one in Singapore, one in Dubai and one in Italy. The one in Italy just happened to be the one that was hosting his little sister's fast impromptu wedding.

Colin thought it was perfect, it was a huge estate that overlooked the sea. It had a winery and deluxe suites. Not to mention the views were spectacular.

Colin never knew that Eloise would ever marry, he knew that she and Philip had been together a long time, as they met when they were 17&19. But he assumed that they just enjoyed travelling, and didn't put any pressure on last names or paper work.

Marriage had never interested Colin. As he travelled so much, he often found himself in the arms of beautiful European women regularly. He liked not being emotionally attached. Something always held him back. He had only really had two serious relationships, one with a women who completely broke him at the age of 21, Marina and another with Lily who was nice, and was probably the perfect bride, but there was something missing. They would still occasionally hook up, but it was nothing more than meaningless sex.

Marina on the other hand, was the one who he was completely enamoured by, yet she cheated on him and ran away with her childhood sweetheart. They didn't even sleep together, as he was trying to respect her, he wanted to marry her. But the last he knew of her that was she married her love and was living in Scotland somewhere. Ever since then, he just decided that love and marriage wasn't for him.

His mother would constantly pester him about his life, and force young women on to him constantly, but he wasn't interested. Blind dates weren't his thing, unemotional hookups seemed a lot better.

He had made it back into town the day before they were due to leave for Italy. He had just came from the hotel in Dublin as he was overseeing some renovations. He burst through the door to see all the Bridgerton women.

"Well this is a nice surprise!"

He shouted from the door and he placed his bags down. Everyone ran and embraced him.  How he missed them all. Even Eloise.

"COLIN!"

Eloise ran into his arms as he spun her around.

"You came!"

Eloise squealed.

"You wouldn't think I'd miss my little annoying sister getting married would you?"

He said while slightly pinching her arm. He embraced all his other sisters, and quickly they were ushered out by Daphne.

"Quickly, we must move. Penelope is meeting us there."

Colin frowned.

"Where on earth are you going? You have not saw your brother properly in months?"

He said as Daphne grabbed his arm.

"Eloise is getting married and we have to sort bridesmaid dresses."
