Every minute it seemed he was glancing at the door. Looking up every so often, not paying attention to anything else but that damn door. He was anxious and scared but also excited.

After getting no sleep, instead staying up all night picturing a future or maybe what his past would've been like if he had seen the threads connecting him to the two. Even now he glanced at his pinkie, the blonde, Tae, said they were there, said he had two. Jungkook even felt the tug a few times in their presence so if they were there, then he had soulmates. Yes, he accepted that the two were telling the truth, he indeed had strings, invisible to him, but he had them. He had to, right?

His heart felt divided at that.

Should he indulge in the fact that he was given not one but two people. Two people who were made just for him and him for them. The thought intrigued him, had him envisioning what his life could be like if he walked down that path.

Then there was what he also was scared of.

Rejection.

Something he became all too familiar with. That's why the bridge looked so tempting, it would never reject him. In fact it called to him, luring him towards it like a siren.

The door opened and for the first time that day he didn't look up not until he felt the tug, his hidden strings tugging him forward. So this is what it felt like? He had pushed it away since the first meeting, the warmth that enveloped him in their presence. He so badly didn't want to push it away anymore but wanting to do something and actually doing it were two entirely different things.

What he saw he wasn't prepared for.

This wasn't how he left them yesterday. The blonde, Tae, had a busted lip while the brunette, Jimin had a bruise forming on his right cheek bone. Did they fight? Are they ok? Did someone do this to them? The endless stream of questions concerning the men in front of him scared him. How could he be this linked to the two already? He knew the answer, he just didn't want to acknowledge how only meeting them twice had secured a deeper connection already.

"Bambi, is that concern I see?"

"What?" Caught off guard by Tae's question, Jungkook blinked, looking back and forth between the two. His mask had slipped once again and he had shown them an image of himself. Something he had built up the past couple of years, the less people knew about him the better. Although with these two, emotions were getting the better of him.

Jimin turned towards Tae and shoved him by his shoulder, coming infront of Jungkook and smiling down at him. Placing a bag on the counter he spoke softly to him, afraid that if he made a wrong move that Jungkook would run away again.

"We bought you something. Also we'd like to apologize for our last meeting. It was insensitive of us to just spring the soulmate thing on you. We should have thought it through better."

"Oh" Jungkook was baffled. "Thank you" he took the bag, surprised by the weight it held.

"We weren't sure what you liked, so we got a few different things." Jimin added.

Jungkook peeked into the bag finding a multitude of items inside. From skin care, lotion and perfumes to an assortment of chocolates. The gift was a pleasant touch to their apology and he couldn't remember the last time someone gave him something. It had to be his parents before they passed.

"I.." he couldn't finish. The words caught in his throat with his eyesight blurring, misting at the actions of the elder males, his soulmates.

"Hey, why are you crying?" The question stung but the voice asking it was gentle, worried.
