My love for you is like a plant.
It's grown strong and tall
This plant is unlike others
This plant will not wilt
You can shred it
pull it
break it
cut it
neglect it
you don't need a green thumb
There may be nothing left on the surface
It's all underneath
The roots are there though the stock is bare
My love is always there
It may be hidden
But it is living
