Marky POV:
The full moon shone bright among the stars as I was laying in the park stargazing. It was a peaceful December evening and I just needed to get some fresh air and some peace of mind. Today was very hectic and I definitely needed to cool off, and what better way to do it then looking at the beautiful night sky? Even though the ground was covered in snow, I didn't mind the cold.
Suddenly I heard rustling from afar. I lifted my head just a bit and looked to my right to see a couple of sketchy looking men. They were both dressed in all black, had they're hoods up and wore black masks. Though that's nothing uncommon here in Seoul, I still was getting a really bad vibe.
I stood up quietly and tried my best to stay low. The men were exchanging some kind of plastic bag with white powder and I definitely did not want to have anything to do with that kind of stuff. Just my luck, when I was making my getaway, I stepped on a stick making a crunching sound. Oh no.
"Hey! Who's there?!" one of the men shouted and I tried to hide behind a tree, but the bright light from a nearby lamppost and my footprints in the snow gave me away. "We see you, girly. You better stay there and be a good girl." one of them chuckled and I heard the sound of footsteps that was growing by the second.
Okay, I'm definitely having none of this and I didn't plan on getting kidnapped today. Better run, Marky. I pushed myself off of the tree and ran as fast as I could, cursing at myself for not having better stamina and not running more often. I heard the men running behind me and shouting at me, but I didn't dare look back.
I ran for my life, literally, making all kind of turns, just to lose the men a bit, but nothing seemed to be working. Suddenly I saw a hedge that was just behind a corner. This could work. I sprinted over there and quickly went through, receiving many cuts in the process. Finally getting to the other side, I sat still and held my breath, hoping the men didn't see me going through.
I heard quick footsteps getting closer and then abruptly stopping. "Where is she? I could've sworn she ran behind this corner." one of them growled kicking a rock in the process. The other man spat on the floor: "Lucky bitch." I let out a sigh of relief. "Wait!" one of them suddenly shouted and I froze, tears pricking my eyes. "Look over there! There's a small passageway, she must've gone through there!" he continued and I heard them running away.
I was still shaking, not sure if I can move so they would hear me. I just stood there, letting the tears fall out of my eyes, sobbing. After a few minutes I composed myself and looked around, spotting a house with the lights inside off. Oh no, I'm in somebody's garden!
I carefully went a bit closer to the house, trying to walk around it. But of course, I tripped over a dog's toy laying on the ground making it squeak and face planted on the ground making a loud sound and burying myself into the snow. I tried to get up, but when I put weight on my ankle, I fell back down in pain, cursing myself.
Han POV:
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter, I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter. Away to the window I flew like a flash, tore open the shutters and threw up the sash. The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow, gave a lustre of midday to objects below.
While glancing outside, I spotted footprints in the snow. "Oi! Is anyone there?" I shouted, getting no response. Suddenly I heard a grunt coming from my right. I searched for the source, spotting a silhouette in the snow, presumably with their face buried under.
"Bloody hell! Are you alright?" I shouted, receiving another grunt. I jumped through my window coming closer to the figure. Upon closer examination, I deduced it's a young damsel in distress. I stepped to her side and offered her my hand: "May I help you, madam? She lifted her head up to glance at me, looking puzzled: "Why are you helping a stranger in your garden in the middle of the night? More so why are you being so uptight?"
I laughed as she took my hand graciously: "I guess it's just the way I was brought up." When she stepped on her left foot, I saw her face twist in pain and she would've collapsed to the ground, had it not been for me catching her midway. "Dear lord, you must've been through a lot! Come with me." I said upon seeing her body covered in bruises, ushering her inside.
We went to the back door, unsuccessfully trying to open it. I looked at her, shyly: "This might come off as a bit strange, but would you mind waiting here for a little bit? I forgot my keys inside and I just need to get them and I'll open the door for you from the inside, if that's alright?" She looked at me for a bit, but then nodded." "Wonderful ! I'll be right back!" I said, hurrying away.
Marky POV:
I watched him run off and then saw him trying to get in through the window. He looked like a cat scratching and kicking his feet. It was rather cute. Once he fell inside the house, I waited in the dark and freezing night. Laying in the snow got me soaked and now I was shivering.
In just a moment, the mysterious man was opening the door, rushing me inside. He sat me down in front of a fireplace and looked and me worried: "Holly macaroni! You must be freezing! I'll be right back with some clothes and something to warm you up." And just like that, he was gone.
I took off my shoes, jacket and beanie, still freezing to the bone and waited. After a few minutes, he was back with some clothes and a blanket. "I know it's not much, but it's all I have. The clothes are mine, so they will maybe be a bit lose on you, so I got you a blanket too!" he said looking into my eyes. I stared back at him, getting lost in his beautiful, mysterious eyes, when suddenly he got up: "I'll go get you some hot chocolate and a first aid kit to patch you up! You can change in the meantime!" He ran away quickly, but I saw the tips of his ears turn red.
I took the opportunity to change into his clothes. They were a bit big on me, but super cozy and smelled wonderful. I was wondering if he smelled the same. He came back with his hands full and I straightened up. He sat down next to me, putting the medication on the table and handing me a cup full of warm brown liquid: "Drink up! You'll feel better." I did as I was told and the sweet taste of chocolate entered my mouth. I hummed in pleasure and put the cup on the coffee table: "Thank you."
"Give me your foot. I saw you winced when you tried to step on it earlier." he said and grabbed my foot, putting it into his lap. He carefully rolled up my pants and took off my sock, grabbing a bandage and wrapping it around my ankle. I took the time to study him. He had brown hair, dark eyes and cute chubby cheeks. His face oddly represented a quokka, even his expressions matched. It was adorable.
"All done." he said once he was finished. Judging by his accent, he was definitely British. "May I ask you something?" I waited for him to nod, "Are you British?" He started laughing and though I felt embarrassed, I couldn't stop staring at his face. Once he calmed down, he answered: "Well I didn't expect this to be your first question, but no, though I do like Brits very much!" I laughed rather embarrassed: "Excuse me, I should've asked for your name first. What's your name?"
He smiled at me brightly: " I'm Han Jisung. Pleasure to make your acquaintance! And what's your name, miss?" I blushed, flustered: "Oh, my name is Marky. Nice to meet you as well." He looked at my face, making me nervous. "Pardon me, but can I attend to the wounds on your face? They need to be disinfected." he asked worriedly and I nodded, scooting closer.
He put some disinfectant on a cotton ball and gently took my face into his hand, turning it towards him. He started tapping my face with the cotton gently, looking focused and I couldn't take my eyes off of him. I was mesmerized by him, even though we just met. I just sat there and stared at him, waiting for him to finish.
Once he was done, he took the cotton ball away, but didn't move an inch. He stared into my eyes as if searching for something. He was so close I could feel his breath on my face. My eyes trailed down to his lips, his eyes doing the same. Suddenly he started leaning closer and I closed my eyes, feeling the gap between us disappearing until I felt his soft plump lips on my own.
I kissed back, wrapping my arms around his neck and feeling him placing his other hand on my cheek , bringing me closer. His lips felt right on my own, yet it felt so wrong. We just met a few minutes ago and now we were kissing. Though none of us stopped.
After a few minutes, he pulled away, flustered. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to kiss you out of nowhere! I should've ask-" he started, but I kissed him again to shut him up. I felt him melt into the kiss and then pulled away: "It's okay, I liked it." He smiled at me and I smiled back, laying my head on his chest and feeling him wrap his arms around me. He kissed the top of my head and asked: "Would you like to spend the night?"
"I'd love to, Han."
