I kissed Lia's cheek after the hug. We sat opposite to each other and grabbed the menu.

A young guy approached us and asked for our order.

"So, where is your soon-to-be wife?" I asked after giving the waiter our order "Oh, she's still at her restaurant. You know, she's a busy person every
Friday" she chuckled

"Hmm probably working hard for you I see. Your marriage is in 10 months"

"I know right? I still can't believe I am engage to that dork"

"Its never too late to back out" I joked

We both laughed and stopped when our order was served. We thanked
the waiter and Lia started digging her food.

"Easy, are you really that hungry?"

"I skipped breakfast today when you called and asked me out. I'm preparing my stomach for these mouth watering foods because you're
paying"

I scoffed and started eating too. I look at her and she eats like she was starving for years. She's already 25 but eats like a toddler.

"Hubby, you ordered a lot"

"Its fine, I can finish all of this"

I playfully rolled my eyes and she chuckled.

"I forgot my wallet" I joked and she stopped eating

"You're kidding"

I shooked my head and did my best not to laugh.

"That's okay, we can just call your wife to send us some money wifey"

"Yah don't do that"

"Why not? Ryujin has lots of money"

"I was just kidding. I have her credit card here"

She look at me and then she smiled widely.

"Her credit card?" She asked

"Yes. And I wouldn't bring you here if I don't have any money jeez"

"We could go shopping!" She exclaimed

"Yes hubby we will. What's the point of going out if we go home empty handed?" I said and she laughed. She then became serious and cleared her throat

"So uhmm, how's it going?"

"Hmm?"

"You and my cousin"

I stopped slicing my steak and look at her.

"Like the usual"

She sighed

"Still the same?"

I slowly nodded and forced a smile

Besides me and Ryu, Jisu and Yuna are the only ones who knew about what's really going on between us.

They've been bugging us to fix our relationship but I know its not going
to be easy. Ryujin and I stopped communicating with each other for 3 years.

Yes, that's how long our relationship is damaged. Its heartbreaking and I
feel like we broke up for the first time.

The only thing that binds us together are the rings we had in our fingers
and the vows we have for each other and the promise we made in front
of our family, God, and ourselves.

Our family never approved divorce because they consider it a sin. Once
you are married, you are already tied to your partner for a lifetime and
the only thing that could separate the two of you is death.

Besides, divorce is far from what they think that'll ever happen to me and Ryu. They witness how are love story started until the day we finally became one. Who could have thought that we'll end up like this?

They look at us in admiration and believes we love each other dearly
when the truth us we're not.

Not anymore.

I can't imagine spending my life pretending that I was happy but I know I'm not.

I lost the love of my life 3 years ago.

And I know she won't come back to me anymore.

"Hey its gonna be okay" Lia sat beside me and rubbed my back

I wiped the tears that I didn't even noticed fall from my eyes.

I look at her and once again, forces a smile "I know. I'm gonna be okay"

As soon as I finished preparing the eating utensils, I heard the front door
opened.

I went out the dining area and walked towards my wife who just got home from work.

"You're home" I said while looking at her

She just nodded while removing her tie

"Is the food ready? I'm hungry"

"Yes, its all prepared"

"OK. I'll just change my clothes"

She walked passed me and went upstairs. Her scent entered my nostrils and I unconsciously smiled when I smelled the familiar scent.

It was one of my favorite perfume brand that I suggested her and she
started using it since then. I'm still grateful that some things managed to
stay the way it was.

I went into the dining and sat on my usual spot and waited for her. We
are still eating together despite the super thick wall in front of us.

At least she talks to me sometimes.

Its already an achievement for me if I can make her speak with more than 6 words or at least 2 sentences.

Minutes later, she arrived wearing her comfortable shirt and pajamas
and we started eating.
