More White Death assassins had jumped through the sunroom, and somewhere between all the fighting, Ladybug and Athene had swapped places with Lemon who was now in the carriage in front of the drivers car, fighting off men with his brother.
"Shouldn't there be a manual or something?" Athene asked, the wind from the broken glass throwing her hair all around the place.
"There was, but it sort of flew away," Athene look at Ladybug with that same annoyed and disappointed face she'd given him so many times that day, "It's my bad luck, i've been telling you!"
"Right, well, there's nothing we can do about that now, just... I don't know do something." Athene said, trying to work out where to start.
As the two were searching around the dashboard, pressing buttons and getting no response from them, Tangerine and Lemon came back in to be quickly fought with by other assassins.
"I'm sorry I shot you!" Lemon shouted to Ladybug while fighting off an assassin.
"It was twice." Ladybug said.
Lemon beat a man over the head with a bat, "I'm sorry I shot you twice." Lemon replied.
"Thanks man, that shows real growth!" Ladybug smiled.
As one assassin was left, Tangerine joined Athene at the front as Ladybug and Lemon spoke. They both turned around in time to see Lemon tackling the assassin who had a gun pointed at Ladybug, the two jumping out of the open door.
"Lemon!" Tangerine yelled, watching his brother fall in the lake underneath the tracks, "Fuck." He muttered, glad he landed in water.
As Tangerine watched his brother, Athene saw a pile of wires and a red picture of the train on the dashboard above it, big words saying emergency brake on it. She was never an expert in that kind of stuff, but she tried connecting wires, but all she got were sparks.
"Fuck this." She muttered as she yanked all the wires loose, making the train quickly slow down, but not fast enough before it collided with the wall showing the end of the train track.
"Watch out!" Ladybug yelled as Tangerine quickly went to Athene and grabbed her, hiding them in corner of the room, watching as Ladybug was thrown around in the air as the train tumbled down a hill.
The two kep their grip on each other tight with their eyes shut, waiting for the collision to end, which it eventually did.
"Fucking hell." Athene muttered as they opened their eyes, seeing the destruction around them. As they got out, they saw Ladybug with The Son and Father who were watching a bloody Prince talk.
"It's my luck that delivered my father's corpse at my feet!" She boasted as Tangerine helped Athene down from the rubble.
"The narcissism on this chick. Untreatable." Ladybug complained.
The two watched from the side as Ladybug gave The Prince some suggestive reading. That was until a van of tangerine's ran her over, stopping soon after and Lemon running out of it.
"Lemon you beaut!" Tangerine shouted as he ran over to the two of them.
"She's a fucking lunatic!" Lemon panted, pointing his thumb to the van where The Prince was under.
"Maria?" Athene asked, seeing her pull into the wreck in her car, "I'll be back." She said to the twins before joining her handler and partner.
"Did you come to rescue me?" Ladybug teased her.
"Did you need rescuing?" Maria asked.
"You came to rescue me." He smiled.
"Please don't make me regret it, or I'll take Athene with me and go." Maria shook her head. Ladybug stayed smiling, his eyes welling up with tears, "Okay, don't-don't. What's happening to your face?"
"Are you crying?" Athene asked.
"It's a lot to process." Ladybug smiled.
"Alright, well, come on. We need to get to the airport." Maria said, but Athene didn't move.
"Actually, I think I'm going to make my own way home. Thank you, though, Maria."
She watched Athene take a glance back at Tangerine who was stood talking to Lemon. She smiled as she put a hand on Athene's shoulder, "Okay. I'll see you on your next mission."
Athene nodded, smiling as she turned around, going back to Tangerine who took her into his arms and kissing her passionately.
"Let's go." He smiled, looking down at Athene.
