     I had finally done it.

While Taranza didn't really approve of me running at trees again, I had successfully phased in and out of the tree.

He was proud of me regardless, but included the words "please just don't hurt yourself."

Luckily for him, ghosts don't feel pain.

We just get extremely worn out.

Taranza had his nose in a book yet again today.

I see him with this same book every day, either reading it, or tracing the patterns on the cover.

I asked him about it one day.

He told me it was the reason he came here.

I talked to Shadow Kirby and he had apparently heard the same thing.

"Ter-Ter, mind going into a little further detail?"

"I found this book at the Moon Warrior base. When I read about bringing loved ones back, I knew I had to try."

I ruffled his hair—something he doesn't let very many people do—and watched him continue to trace the patterns.

"Why do you do that so much?" I ask him.

"It just seems like I have to."

"Why?"

"It just feels right. I don't know how to explain it."

"Oh."

I watched him for a while longer, before he set the book down.

I saw Shadow Kirby running toward us, he seemed to have someone I didn't recognize with him.

Taranza let out a light gasp, and dashed into the small house we shared, returning with his broken Moon Warrior mask.

"Taranza, what's this about?" I asked him.

He didn't answer.

The stranger with fire red hair noticed Taranza.

"Taranza! There you are! What are you doing all the way out here?"

"Just, exploring."

"Don't lie to me, Ranza. I saw you run inside when you saw me. And what happened to your mask?"

Taranza threw his mask down.

"I ran away, okay, Flamberge?"

"You didn't say goodbye. Marx and Magolor are worried sick about you."

"Let them! They would have tried to stop me anyway."

"Taranza-"

"Don't 'Taranza' me, you just want to drag me back, don't you? Take me away from everything I've ever worked for, make me go back to where I don't belong."

"Taranza, that's not true. Truth is, I didn't fit in, either. I had suspected you ran off that day. I admired you for it. I had considered joining you that night, but that would have been suspicious. I got worried and came to find you."

"Really?"

Flamberge put her hand on his shoulder.

"Really. No one knows I left either. Your friend Shadow Kirby found me, and offered to take me to you. I'm glad you're okay. You seem happy."

"Guess I should introduce you to the others."

Taranza gestured to me.

"This is Sectonia. I love her dearly, and I brought her back as a ghost."
