They say memory blurs when u live as long as a 1000 years so when someone with a certain name reappears years later one may not realize.
In the huge rented mansion just near the end of beacon hills sat Klaus Mikealson with a glass full of brown liquor and hazy eyes perhaps it was the evening causing him distraught. Klaus Mikealson now far from home full of rage and summering sorrow perhaps he had failed as a father perhaps Mikeal had been right and so had everyone else. A certain woman came to mind on evenings like this a woman with obsidian black hair and ever enchanting eyes the woman he couldn't save, the woman who was taken too soon. His everything his fiance soon to be wife if only it hadn't been for all the war.
Klaus had always regretted not going back sooner because of the hollow. the ring on the necklace under his shirt was a reminder of what he'd lost. what had made him lose all of himself for when all the light from his world could be ripped away from him what else couldn't who could save his daughter if not himself. somewhere along the way he knows he lost his oldest but she was alive and that was enough for him on days like this.
It was days where he stood in New Orleans staring into the lake would he blink away his tears chocking on life his daughter was alive she was and his wolf could feel it.
Klaus knew how wild and bipolar he was turning each year but there wasn't a cure and she was his heir his queens heir the oldest daughter he would never be able to protect just like the love of his life 8 years ago.
Amidst his grief a set of ombre eyes flashed through his mind as if a reminder of the last name Timore the unknown yet so familiar. Klaus knew somewhere deep into his 5 bottle of liquor he knew the hate beneath each stare the rage bubbling the cauldron full of poison brewing just to swallow him alive.
Desire,Desire a lost chant on dried lips a long walk to the bridge.
Klaus had decided to walk to the bridge to get away from bekah's whining and hopes insufferable attitude as usual. There he saw the girl from dinner sat against a tree trying to skip stones into the lake.
"Hello" yet all she did was throw another stone.
"not quite how you skip stones child" he said as he helped himself onto the ground next to her.
"go away"
"will not" he replied.
the silence was loud almost deafening and yet when he finally saw her eyes and the movement of her Midnight black hair his eyes yet again welled up with tears.
"desire" he whispered
she froze her had stopping mid air the stone falling back onto the ground.
"Desire Devereux you, her- your hair your eyes... your her...?"
"Daughter" she replies her voice thick with emotion.
"how- I- she never told me, she never."
"And when would she tell you? The day you came to rip her heart out when you didn't even listen. when you had your hand up her ribcage and she was pleading."
"No-I.."
"No what"
Klaus seemed shocked at the discovery Desire had a daughter a Daughter who may have been his.
What troubled him was the accusation of killing his Beloved.
"You think I killed her"
"NO I KNOW YOU DID"
