Once upon a time
Everyone knows this sentence.
Every fairytale starts like this.
Once upon a time there was a beautiful princess.
Once upon a time there was a green little frog.
Once upon a time..
Everyone knows fairytales end good.
The princess gets the prince.
The little frog finally turns back to a prince.
The swan finally sees he's beautiful.
And more.
Our life is a fairytale.
When I was younger I used to write fairytales.
And I always started with:
Once upon a time.
But when I got older, I found out that fairytales were just fake stories.
I started to hate them. Or?
No. I couldn't hate them.
Because I did believe in happy endings.
Our life is a fairytale, that's what I call it.
Others call it a book, a song, a poem, a school, a-
What do you call it?
And what's the name of it?
Mine is:
"My life."
