There was a piercing scream.

Alek was breathing heavily.

The girl below him was his scarred sister.

She was yelling at him and he felt hazy.

Suddenly his sister's face turned to Marinas'.

He stepped back in shock as it was no longer his sister screaming but Marina.

"Marina..." he breathed out.

"Get away from me!" She cried.

"But I didn't-"

"You ruined me! You ruined me like you did to your sister"

"That's not true!" Alek grabbed his head as his world was spinning.

"Get away from me!"

Alek tried to get closer to her "Marina I can explain"

"GET AWAY!"

Her scream felt like a banshee which raptured his ears and suddenly his eyes flew open.

He woke up sweating staring up the morning sky. He looked around and he was right outside Martha's tent.

She was inside her tent but looking out from her zipped-down window with a concerned face.

"You were having a nightmare sweetheart"

"Yeah," Alek said breathlessly.

She came out and started making breakfast for them.

He ate with Martha breakfast and as he was cleaning up he said, "I got a job, Martha"

"Really?! Oh, thank you, Jesus! I've been praying for you to get a job. I'm so happy for you"

'Ain't no way those prayers even work, it was just a coincidence but I appreciate the thought that...she's been rooting for me,' Alek thought to himself.

"Thank you, Matha," He said.

"Okay see you later" Alek waves at her.

Alek decided to jog towards Marina's house, it was roughly a 30-minute walk but jogging would be a great way for him to work out. Since he got out of jail and he had no gym anymore he could tell he was losing his muscles.

He didn't know what time it was but Mr. Owens said mornings so he hoped this was an okay time.
