Harry stumbled slightly. He set off up the gap between the Gryffindor and Hufflepuff tables. It felt like an immensely long walk; the top table didn't seem to be getting any nearer at all, and he could feel hundreds and hundreds of eyes upon him, as though each were a searchlight. The buzzing grew louder and louder. After what seemed like an hour, he was right in front of Dumbledore, feeling the stares of all the teachers upon him. I looked at him with concern and sadness. I looked at him with apprehension. Dumbledore gave the parchment piece to Harry and he looked shocked to see his name. This meant one thing... Harry did not put his name in it, and neither asked some senior to put his name in it for him. But then, Barty had a mission for Voldemort... what if... why am I not shocked?! Of course it's Voldemort... Barty must have put Harry's name in the Goblet of Fire.
"Well... through the door, Harry," said Dumbledore. He wasn't smiling. Harry moved off along the teachers' table. Hagrid was seated right at the end. He did not wink at Harry, or wave, or give any of his usual signs of greeting. He looked completely astonished and stared at Harry as he passed like everyone else. Harry stumbled as he walked to the trophy room. The students had left the hall. And then, Olympe Maxime and Igor Karkaroff began to shout at Dumbledore.
"Alexia, did you know about this?" asked Dumbledore.
"No... had I known, I would have cast forgery repellant charms on the goblet as well." I said.
"She's his sister, of course she'd support him!" shouted Maxime.
"Excuse me Madame, what gives you the right to speak of me like that! Yes, I'm his sister, but I rather have my twin brother not participate. I want him alive and unharmed by my side, thank you very much." I snapped at her much to everyone's surprise.
We went towards the Trophy as Olympe and Igor continued their protests.
"Dumbledore, wait!" shouted Madame Maxime. But Dumbledore continued to run towards the trophy room.
"Everything is a conspiracy theory with you..." Karkaroff accused Madame Maxime.
"I beg you pardon, Monsieur..." spat Maxime.
"Quiet – I can't think!" said Dumbledore.
"That's just a conspiracy theory." Said Karkaroff all of a sudden. What the fuck!!!
"I protest! I protest!" shouted Madame Maxime loud enough to gain the attention of Krum, Diggory, Delacour and Harry's. All of sudden we entered the room, and Dumbledore attacked Harry, pulling him by his collar.
"Harry! Did you put your name in that Goblet of Fire?" asked Dumbledore.
"No, sir." said Harry.
"Did you ask one of the older students to do it for you?" interrogated Dumbledore.
"No, sir." Harry replied.
"You're absolutely sure?" said Dumbledore.
"Yes, sir. Yes, sir!" said Harry.
"But of course, he is lying." Shouted Maxime pushing aside a curtain.
"The hell he is." Said Barty. "The Goblet of Fire is an exceptionally powerful magical object. Only an exceptionally powerful Confundus charm could have hoodwinked it - magic way beyond the talents of a Fourth Year!" Good thinking Barty Crouch Junior... I hope you can think this quickly when I'll be barging you with questions...
"You seem to have given this a fair bit of thought, Mad-Eye." Hissed Karkaroff.
"It was once my job to think as Dark wizards do, Karkaroff. Perhaps you remember?" said Barty.
"Dumbly-dorr must 'ave made a mistake wiz ze line," said Madame Maxime, shrugging.
"It is possible, of course," said Dumbledore politely.
"Dumbledore, you know perfectly well you did not make a mistake! Especially with Alexia Potter's help." said Professor McGonagall angrily. "Really, what nonsense! Harry could not have crossed the line himself, and as Professor Dumbledore believes that he did not persuade an older student to do it for him, I'm sure that should be good enough for everybody else!"
"That doesn't help, Alastor. I leave this to you, Barty." He said looking at Barty Crouch Senior. I noted Barty glaring at him, as I kneed him at the elbow, with my elbow, as he flinched slightly.
"The rules are absolute." Barty Crouch Senior said looking rather shocked. "The Goblet of Fire constitutes a binding magical contract. Mr. Potter has no choice. He is, as of tonight, a Triwizard champion." What?!!!!!!!!!!!
~~~~~~~~~Later that night~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was night time, and we discussing the events in Professor Dumbledore's Office.
"This can't go on, Albus. First the Dark Mark, now this?" said McGonagall.
"What do you suggest, Minerva?" said Dumbledore.
"Put an end to it. Don't let Potter compete!" said McGonagall.
"I agree with Professor McGonagall, Professor Dumbledore. Remove Harry Potter from the competition. Did you see his face, his face is shouting that he does not want to be in the tournament!" I said.
"You both heard Barty. The rules are clear." Dumbledore said.
"Well, the devil with Barty and his rules. And since when did you accommodate the Ministry?" I spat.
"Master, I, too, find it difficult to believe this mere coincidence. However, if we are to truly discover the meaning of these events, perhaps we should, for the time being, let them unfold." said Severus.
"What? Do nothing? Offer him up as bait? Potter is a boy, not a piece of meat." said McGonagall.
"I agree... with Severus. Alastor, keep an eye on Harry, will you?" said Dumbledore. "And Alexia, do stick by his side."
"I can do that." said Barty.
"Of course" I said.
"Don't let him know, though. He must be anxious enough, as it is... knowing what lies ahead. Then again, we all are." said Dumbledore. We all left Dumbledore's office, and I grabbed Barty's hand and pulled him all the way to his office. As soon as I arrived to his office, I hurled him inside, and locked the door, muttering the silencing spell.
"HOW DARE YOU, YOU BASTARD!" I shouted at him. "Harry is my brother. Doing the deed of your psychotic master! But what can be expected, you are another psychotic snitch as well!"
"Don't you shout" spat Barty. "You can easily report to Dumbledore about me, but you kept your mouth shut. Not only that, you kissed me yesterday! Tell me something, did you enjoy the kiss?" he spat.
"It was a bloody joke you idiot!" I spat back. His face paled immediately.
"What?" he gasped. He looked like someone had dropped him from the Astronomy tower.
"Yes. I was dared to kiss you. Either that, or tell one of my secrets. So I chose to do the deed than reveal my secrets to everyone. So I came down yesterday and kissed you. It was nothing alright. So get over it!" I shouted. "And another thing, I'm going to finish my course ofTraits of Alastor Moody and then bye bye between me and you." I turned to leave, when he grabbed my hand and pushed me against the wall, and attacked my lips with his own. I kept my mouth shut as he let out an animalistic growl.
"Tell me, you feel nothing" he said.
"I felt nothing." I said. Pushing him away, and opened the door, and went out of the office.
