The next morning, Hermione woke up, feeling slightly better and not as focused on the situation. She lifted the covers and made her bed, just like every other morning. She shook Ginny and whispered, "Gin, start to wake up now, it's 6AM!" And just like every other morning, Ginny covered her head with a pillow and slept until 7. Hermione grabbed her robes and entered the bathroom, where she took a ten minute shower and washed her hair. She then dried it and pinned it back into a half-up half-down hairstyle, her favourite. She put curling creme into her hair, her hair. She applied some blush, concealer, mascara, and lipgloss and left the bathroom. She then forced Ginny out of her bed and left Ginny to get ready. Quickly, Hermione put some books and her wand into her bag and left their bedroom. She read her book and waited for Ginny to come out for breakfast. After a couple minutes, Ginny approached her, and they left for the Great Hall. Ginny practically had to force the book out of her hands.

"How're you feeling 'Mione? You seem... off."

"I just," she sighed, "I don't know..."

"That's okay! If you need to talk, I'm here for you."

"Thanks, Gin."

"Sorry about the whole 'Malfoy' thing."

"Gin, it's fine! Honestly!" Hermione laughed and hugged her.

"Good! Anyway, what are you having for breakfast?"

"I'm not really that hungry, maybe just some toast."

"Is that it?"

"Well, I was thinking we could go to Hogsmeade for lunch? Just you and me?" She shrugged.

"I'd love that OMM! (Oh My Merlin.)"She smiled.

"Okay, cool!" They entered the hall and sat down with Harry and Ron. "Hey guys!"

"Hey 'Mione! Hey Gin!" Harry smiled.

"Hii!" They both smiled back, Ron just scowled at Hermione.

"What's wrong with you?" Ginny asked.

"Last night, I slapped him. He was being a total prat about Malfoy being Head Boy." Hermione smirked.

"I wasn't lying!" Ron tried to defend himself.

"I'll slap you in a minute." Ginny growled.

"Ron, mate, they've changed. You don't know what Draco's situation was like, none of us do." Hermione thought back to when Mcgonagall explained what happened to Draco but decided the secret must be kept. Harry continued, "Just, leave 'em all alone, alright?" Ron responded with a low groan before nodding. Hermione then looked over to the Slytherin table, originally trying to see if Pansy was there. She then made eye contact with Draco. He waited 5 seconds before breaking it. She sighed out loud by accident, and her friends looked at her.

"What's wrong 'Mione?" Harry asked with a look of concern on his face.

"It's nothing, Harry. Just have a bit of a headache."

"You're one to talk..." Ron muttered, which gave him a slap on the arm from Harry.

"Look, I'm fine. I'm just gonna' go talk to Pansy, I think we have potions together." Ron scowled.

"I'm still sad that none of us has many classes together." Ginny said with a frown as Hermione nodded in agreement before grabbing her bag and standing up, leaving for the Slytherin table. Ginny looked at Hermione's plate, seeing she had left all of the food on there. Maybe she was just excited for a big lunch? She didn't look into it too much and continued chatting with the other Gryffindors.

As Hermione approached the table, she felt eyes all over her. Not just from the Slytherins', other houses too. She approached Pansy and received a small hug from her.
