The Theif 2! A pups little side

I can't believe they left me here again, it feels so empty and dark when they aren't around. I'm sat on the couch as Max trys to entertain me with some games he got from my room.

"Can I watch TV?" I ask, he quickly grabs the controller from my reach as my hand hovers above it "sorry honey, strict orders for you to have some wind down time before bed" usualy I would be mad but his gentle smile is too friendly to be mad at.

We do a fun puzzle while I cuddle up with wolfie before playing a few more board games, eventualy I began to grow tired and leaned against Max for some comfort.

I could feel him stroking my back as he pulled a blanket over me, I felt his arms wrap around me before carrying me up the stairs.

Once I felt a bed against my body I knew we were in my room, he tucked me up so cosily I couldn't help but just instantly fall into a deep sleep, he must have  the put the radiator since the warmth in the room increases.

My body's suddenly jolt awake by a loud draping sound in the sky, it reminds me of when someone cracks a whip against air. I try to control myself before I burst into tears but it's too late, another loud crack in the sky followed by a harsh flash through my window curtains makes me burst into silent tears.

I sit up against the wall with my hands over my ears, it's so loud. Thunder after thunder, the loud sounds lay over each other as one after another continues ripping through the sky causing instant flashing afterwards, it causes me to spiral into uncontrollable fear.

"Seb?" I hear a voice,I open my eyes slowly to speak walking into the room towards me. He takes my hands away from my ear "it's okay, its just thunder. It can't hurt you" he tells me helping me calm my breathing.

It's easy for him to say, he doesn't have sensative hearing. Just as soon as I'm calm one of the loudest thunders rip through the sky probably causing a huge tree to fall as there's a loud bang followed after with light sounds of napping twigs.

I jump out of my skin as my breath hitches unable to breathe, even Max looks stunned by the noise. "Seb, breathe" he tells me,I put my hands over my ears again shaking halead as too much is going on.

Just as I realise I'm unable to get any air into my lunges I begin to panic even more "Honey, I need you to breathe. Just  some slow breathes,in and out" I try to do as he says slowly taking in breathes with some light gaps every so often.

Eventualy I'm able to breathe again but the noise outside doesnt stop, I've never heard such a bad thunder storm before. Eventualy rain starts, the heavy harsh raindrops crash on the roof and windows as if its going to break them.

I feel Max's hands wrap around my waist lifting me up to his chest, he takes me out the room after grabbing my wolfie form the floor.

Carrying me downstairs he jolts me lightly in his arms while humming something, it's quite soothing. Tears are still running down my face but I appear silent, his gentle humming is all I'm concentrated on.

I can't hear anything other than his humming until a light ring tone shatters the silence. I jump a bit in his arms only for him to jolt a bit faster and pat my back while humming again, his humming stop as he answers the phone "Hello?" "Max, there's a storm. Can you check on Seb" I hear Enzos voice through the phone making me feel a lot more safer "yh it's okay, I've got him with me right now" Max responds.

"How he is?" He asks, Max continues to jolt me. "He's being very brave" Max responds making me seem proud of myself. I make grabby hands for the phone, he looks at me before chuckling "he wants to talk to you" Max says before handing me the phone with study hands.
