Chapter 20 (Job Offers)

Sana's POV

My record for the board exams was greatly recognized by the university and they even gave me plenty of gifts.

Tzuyu and I arranged a dinner with our parents and they will come here anytime, so he told me to get ready while he finishes the dishes he is cooking for us.

I usually clean up the utensils after cooking because I'm not really into cooking.
When they arrived, Tzuyu and I just finished everything and we had dinner immediately.

"Sana, what are your plans now that you have your license already?" My mom asked.

"I already have a few projects from my connections and I'm doing freelance jobs... But I'm still looking for what I want to do." I said.

"Why don't you apply for the company I'm working on? They will surely love a fresh graduate because your age is still ambitious." Tzuyu's mom said.

"I don't really want to work for a company... They're too demanding at times." I said.

"That's true... Mom's clients are always demanding, that's why she's always stressed." Tzuyu said.

"Chewy... I'm not that stressed." Tzuyu's mom said.

"You are... At times..." Tzuyu teased his mom.

We all just laughed at them.

"Why don't you try teaching college?" Tzuyu's dad asked.

"Yeah... I think you'll do well." My dad said.

"Teaching?" I asked then looked at Tzuyu.

"I'm thinking the same thing..." He said and looked at our dads and looked back at me.

"I'll think about it." I said.

"Sana, if you made up your mind, tell me immediately so we can process your papers wherever you want to work." Tzuyu's dad said.

I nodded and smiled at them.

After dinner, our parents left and while I was cleaning up, Tzuyu was checking our emails on both our laptops.

"Love, you have so many job offers... Even overseas." He said.

"But I'm thinking about what our dads said." I said.

"You want to teach college students?" He asked.

"Yeah... And I can also take care of you..." I said.

He glanced at me and tried to hide his blush with his chuckle.

"What? Don't you want me near you?" I asked.

"Of course, I want you next to me all the time." He said.

"Then I made up my mind... I'm going to teach college..." I said.

"Okay... I'll tell dad." He said.

After a few minutes, I finished cleaning up and he brought our laptops back into our room.

"Love... Come here..." He said as he put his laptop away.

I walked towards him and he let me sit on his lap.

"Are you thinking about the jobs?" He asked and I nodded.

"Wherever you're happy, I'll support you... Now if you just want to rest this year... I'll provide for us." He said.

"I want to work, but I'm doubting if I can handle students... Especially if I'm going to handle your batch... I'm practically friends with the lower years." I said.

"Then be professional. I don't care if you are strict... Just do your job where you are happy..." He said.

I smiled at his words and kissed his cheeks.
