Chapter 38 (Feeling Better)

Sana's POV

Tzuyu had been very upset since he had a meeting with his Dad and Mr. Fierro which is also the same day that he got fired.

It's been a few days since he cleared his table and I was with Nayeon talking about the grades of our students when Mr. Fierro suddenly came into the faculty room to clear his table.

I almost had a panic attack just by seeing his face but when Tzuyu and his Dad also came into the room, Tzuyu took me out with Nayeon and explained everything to me.

Now, Tzuyu was busy with his thesis oral defense that will be held tomorrow morning. All of his subjects were done and this is his last requirement before he graduates.

"Love... Take a nap..." I said when I saw him still reading his thesis paper at midnight.

"I'm so nervous..." He said as he closed the paper.

"You'll be fine... Come here... You need some sleep." I said.

He laid down next to me and sighed when he got comfortable with his position.

"I wouldn't lie to you... So you'll be fine... Get some sleep, you'll need it." I said and kissed his forehead.

He just nodded and after a few minutes, I could hear his soft snore and steady breaths.

"I hope I also have you with me when I was stressed before... But I'll never let you experience all the pain I went through... I'll always be here for you..." I whispered and kissed him again before falling asleep.

The next morning, he already left when I woke up and when I got in school, he was already going to the classroom where his defense will be held.

"Good Luck... You'll be okay, I believe in you." I said.

He smiled widely like he is not nervous anymore and gave me a quick hug not even caring if a lot of students saw us.

After about an hour, I came back to the classroom where his defense was held and he came out feeling drained but a wide smile showed up when he saw me.

"Thank you, Love." He whispered when he hugged me again.

"I'll ask you questions later... Go to Mina, she's in the council office, I left your meal there." I said.

He nodded and left while I went inside the classroom to get ready for the next set of thesis defenders because I'm their panelist.

After 3 hours, I finished all my schedules and passed my feedback to the advisers of the students.

I went straight to the council office seeing Mina and Chaeyoung just talking while sitting next to each other.

"Where's Tzuyu?" I asked.

"He went home... He said he'll sleep and wait for you there." Mina answered.

"Did he eat?" I asked.

"Yeah... He's happy with the results of his defense." Chaeyoung said.

"He looked happy when I saw him... Anyway... I'll go home already." I said.

"Wait, Sana... After their graduation, should we set a vacation together with the girls?" Mina asked.

"Sure... Their graduation is worth celebrating." I said.

"Okay... Let's set it sometime..." Mina said.

"Yeah... And Chaeyoung... Advance congratulations." I said.

"Thank you..." She said.

I gave them a smile and winked at them teasing them for having a steamy night.
They just laughed and I left the school to go home to my Tzuyu.

I bet he's so tired, and I will do everything for him to relax and feel better because he did his very best to finish college.

When I got home, I saw him running down the stairs like he forgot something and stopped when he saw me.

"What's with all the rush?" I asked.

"I think I left my phone somewhere..." He said.

I looked around and saw his phone at the kitchen counter, so I went to give it to him and he yawned cutely.

"Did you get a nice sleep?" I asked while laughing at his standing hair.

He nodded and pulled me in a hug then spun us around as he lifted me up.

"I heard you had great feedback from your panelists." I said.

"Yeah... My wife didn't let me feel alone during the process, so I am so happy..." He said.

I smiled at his words and fixed his hair before kissing his lips.

"You're never alone... And we'll never make each other feel alone... Promise me that..." I said.

"I promise... Oh, I'm just so happy now... Just a month for graduation and I can tell the world that you're my wife." He said.

I giggled at his words and kissed him again.

"Let's have dinner..." I said and we started cooking something for dinner.

I can't help but feel happy because when he is stressed, I can't talk to him normally because he gets mad easily, so I was extra cautious with what I was doing and what I was saying before.

"Are you feeling better now?" I asked him when he covered our naked bodies with the blanket after doing our business.

"I am... Thank you..." He said.

I smiled at his response and cuddled closer to him.
