Chapter 9: Day with the Team

I woke up at 9. Kelley, Tobin and Alex were in the living room. I went into the bathroom and threw my hair up into a messy bun. I washed my face and put my glasses on.

I walked out. "Well hey there." Kelley said.

"Good morning Li." Alex said.

"How'd you sleep?" Tobin asked.

"Hey. Good morning. And good thanks." I answered all three questions like a pro.

"Haha. That's good. Get dressed were going to breakfast." She threw a T-shirt at me. I straitened it up. It was Te same T-shirt that they had on. A black USA Nike T-shirt.

"Thanks!"

I went back into the room and put on the T-shirt and a pair of Nike Pro leggings. They had a white and grey pattern on them. Then I put my contacts in and then walked back out to them.

"Looking sharp." Kel said.

"Haha thanks."

"Come on. Lets go. I'm starving." Tobin insisted on leaving now. She had a ball at her feet.

"Calm down Tobs." Alex said. "We're gonna leave soon."

I grabbed my phone and wallet. "Alright. Ready."

"Good. Lets go." Tobin was very persistent.

We got in the elevator with Carli, Julie, and Lauren.

"Good morning guys." Lauren said.

"Where ya heading?" Carli asked.

"I don't really know. Just somewhere to get breakfast." Kelley said.

"Mind if we tag along?"

"Sure. The more the merrier." Alex said.

We all walked off the elevator and were greeted by Ali and Ashlyn.

"Hey, Ali, Ash." I said.

"Where you guys going?" Ashlyn asked.

"Well we're supposed to be going to breakfast." Tobin said.

"Can we tag along?" Ali asked.

"Yeah sure. Just don't mine the snobby one. She's a little hungry." Kelley said eying Tobin.

"Haha."

"There's a really good place down the street." Alex said.

"Okay lead the way." Tobin said juggling.

We walked a couple blocks to a small cafe. We walked in and sat down at a table big enough for 9. I got a waffle and eggs. It was decent.

"Well that was god. Where to now?" Alex asked.

"Well we have lifting at 11 so I guess we got to go back." Carli said.

"Yeah. I guess so."

We all walked back to the hotel. I changed into the practice gear. Then put my hair in a bun.

"Ready?" Kelley asked me.

"Yep. Where's Tobin and Alex?"

"They already went out to the bus."

"Oh. Let's go then."

We walked out to the bus. I found Alex and sat with her.

"So what exactly are we gonna be doing?" I asked Alex.

"Well. It's a little bit of everything. Squats, pull-ups, curls, bench, lots of stuff. Pretty easy. Just don't hurt yourself."

"Ok. I'll try not."
