I'm Yours

Danny left the airport exhausted and aching all over. The tour was finally over and he was glad to be back in Dublin to see his family and friends and have a break. He would have to go to London for a week or so to discuss future albums but that was at the back of his mind.

He went through customs and found his bags and bright flashes were all around, momentarily blinding him. Danny just walked past the paparazzi, eager to see the girl he knew was waiting for him.

He walked through the throngs of people milling around and saw a glimpse of bright pink. Of course that would be her. Sure enough, on the other side of a group of Japanese tourists was Lily, his best friend since childhood. She was wearing pink skinny jeans, a green top, a pink cardigan and black heels. Her blond hair just reached her shoulders and her green eyes shone in excitement.

"Danny!" Lily shouted and ran over to give him a hug.

"I missed you Lil'" Danny chuckled when she wouldn't let go of his waist. After a while, he grabbed her wrists and carefully plucked her arms from him.

"So how's life treating you rock star?" She teased. "Does your PA get your diet schedule right?"

"Ha! I don't need a diet, look!" Danny pointed to his stomach. "This is pure muscle. I haven't counted or anything but I'm pretty sure it is an eight pack!" He played along.

Lily just sighed and lightly slapped his arm. "You are coming back to my house Mister." She demanded and hailed a cab.

"Wow. Is that boyfriend of yours treating you right? You seem a little hasty to get another man back to your house!" Dan joked and Lily rolled her eyes.

"Matt is treating me fine thank you very much. More than I can say for you. Why do you have to leave me for such a long time? I can't bear to be without you to laugh with me!" Lily whined like a little girl.

Danny threw his head back laughing and they joked all the way to Lily's house.
