The three boys clambered into a taxi after leaving the packed airport. All three managed to squeeze into the backseat on the taxi with what little luggage they had in the boot. Danny was sat in the middle and was tousling his hair nervously whilst Glen and Mark looked out each of their windows.

"So gameplan?" Mark asked, shattering the awkward silence that was beginning to cloud the taxi.

"Punch Logan and get out?" Danny asked with smile on his face.

"No no!" Glen butted in. "Kill Logan and get out."

"Yeah that is an alright plan actually, I have murder plans already set in my head so we're all set." Danny said and they all laughed, even the taxi driver let out a low chuckle. Realising somebody was listening in, Mark shut the privacy partitioning before turning back to his friends and looking seriously at each of them.

"Whilst all this joking is all well and good and seems to have calmed you down, Dan, we still need a plan. We are less then 5 minutes away from where Lily is staying and I'm not going to let you walk in there like a stuttering idiot only to get laughed at." Mark sternly told them and the laughs were silenced.

"I'll just tell her the truth. Can't go wrong with the truth can you? I'll say how much I need her back in Dublin and how I really love her." Danny shrugged. "I'm pretty sure everything I feel about her will just speak for itself when I see her."

They neared Lily's new apartment and the taxi began to slow down. All three stepped onto the wet pavement and drew in a breath, climbing up the steps quickly to get away from the rain.

Lily placed her luggage down and took a look around her new place. Every wall was painted white and the only furniture in sight was a small table in the kitchen area and two leather arm chairs in the living room. Everything was cleaned within an inch of its life and the whole apartment had a new kind of smell which was mainly cleaning fluids and bleach. The space was enormous but it gave the place an empty and cold feel despite the bright sunlight that was streaming through one of the open windows. Lily let go of Logan's hand and began to wander around in search of one colourful thing, a painting or an ornament to make the apartment feel more like a home but her search brought nothing.

"Why don't you have a look in the bedrooms whilst I give the landlord a call," Logan suggested and smiled slightly before whipping out his smart phone and dialling a number, cutting of any response Lily could have had.

She paced around a bit before she saw a door that was painted white much like everything else. She turned the door handle and swung the door open only to find a room with four white walls, a wardrobe and a double bed with only a bare mattress on. Closing the door and leaving the room, Lily made her way to a spiral staircase that led her up to a small corridor with one room at the end and two along the side. The one on the end was a bathroom with a shower, bath sink and toilet and a small mirror on one of the walls, above the sink. The next was a small room with a desk that Logan would probably turn into an office and the room after that was another bedroom. This one was much bigger and had three windows and a skylight all of which let as much light in as possible. On the wall opposite the bed there was a walk in wardrobe and Lily smiled gently, thinking of all the shopping she could do to at least attempt to fill it.

Suddenly, arms snaked their way around her waist and Lily spun around. Logan - who was now off the phone - stood smiling in appreciation at the room.

"It's amazing isn't it? You're lucky you have such a wonderful boyfriend who can get apartments like this at the last minute." Logan stood, proud of himself. "I love you." He told Lily and she looked up into his eyes, not seeing the love he proclaimed he had for her, his eyes were as cold and empty as the room they were stood in. She pushed him away and his eyes held shock for a moment before he composed himself and gave her a quizzical look.

"No you don't. You don't love me and you never will. I don't know what I'm doing here and I just want to go home. Move into your 'fantastic last minute apartment' on your own." Lily told him and pushed her way out of his grasp. Logan caught her wrist just before she could make it to the door though.

"I do love you!" He exclaimed. "Look, you're tired and you're just feeling homesick that's all." Logan told her and pulled Lily back to him a little. She shook her wrist away though and looked disgusted at the man she once thought was dreamy and gentleman like.

"Homesick?!" She shouted exasperated. "I don't feel homesick I just want to get far far away from you and this horrible cell of an apartment. I don't want to live with you and its my choice so if you don't mind. I'm leaving." Lily stalked out of the room, down the staircase and picked up her suitcases. She slammed the front door and stormed down the corridor, stopping only to wait for the lift. When she got to the ground floor she crouched on the floor and rummaged in her bag for a coat or an umbrella or something to protect herself from the sudden outbreak of rain. Finally finding both a spotty umbrella and a coat she zipped up her suitcase and walked through the doors into the wet weather.

On her way down the steps, she bumped into someone and when she looked up to apologise, she saw it was Mark. "Mark what are you doing here?!" She shouted and hugged him tightly. Over his shoulder she saw Glen and Danny stood there. Glen smiled warmly and gave a small wave but Danny was beaming, his whole face alight with joy. Lily ran down the rest of the steps and leaped into Danny's arms. She kissed him passionately and wrapped her arms around his neck to make sure she didn't fall down. Their lips entwined and everything was right, everything was fine again as bright lights flashed against their eyelids. Realisation dawned upon them at the same moment and they pulled apart to see flashing cameras all around them. Paparazzi shouted questions after them as the four hurriedly clambered back into the taxi.

"Good to have you back." Danny told her and Lily smiled, resting her head against his shoulder.
