They were laughing until Drew entered the Zeus cabin looking furious.
"What do you think you're doing? Riding that wretched pegasus in front of our cabin! I almost ruined my makeup!"
But then, she saw him. The boy who had just ridden the pegasus. Newcomer perhaps. He was standing there, looking bewildered, and her anger gave way to curiosity.
He had some rugged nature in him. Drew totally wanted to before Hacharmspeak him into having a relationship with her. She adjusted her tone to a richer tone of compliment.
"But was something, you know. Campers hardly ride a pegasus on their first day. Are you new?"
Piper stepped forward before Harry could reply, giving a sly warning to the onlookers. "Harry, meet Drew, my half-sister. Fair warning, she can charmspeak you into doing anything."
Well, Piper wasn't wrong. (What did she have against her?)
Annabeth: "They're visitors. They're wizards and witches from Hogwarts." ("And Beauxbatons!" The blonde girl looked annoyed.)"They're not campers. And sadly for you, they're not staying."
She took the disappointment fairly well.
"Oh, I see. Well, welcome to Camp Half-Blood, Harry. And I must say, you've made quite the entrance. Very... daring."
Harry, replied nonchalantly. "Thanks, Drew. Nice to meet you."
Oh, he's good. Time to turn on the charm.
"Likewise, Harry. If you ever need a tour of the camp or someone to show you around, I'd be more than happy to help."
"I already had a go around the camp. Thanks all the same."
Apparently, charmspeak didn't work well on him.
Ron: "She's like a Veela, isn't she? Absolutely gorgeous!"
Fleur, Hermione, and Ginny exchanged critical glances.
Hermione couldn't resist a teasing comment. "Veelas are a bit more modest, Ron."
Fleur: "Honestly Ron, one of zeese days you'll learn the difference between a Veela and a silly girl showing off."
Ginny: "For once I agree with Fleur."
Drew: "If you're jealous-"
Clarisse: "Quit it Charmspeak girl. We were having some fun until you busted in."
"How about joining our game, Drew? You in?" Thalia asked, gesturing towards the circle of demigods and wizards.
Drew couldn't resist the opportunity to showcase her charms. Even though she hated any form of challenge, she lied "Oh, I love a good game. Count me in. I could use some entertainment."
<Percy quickly explains the rules of the game>
Harry: "OK Drew. Your choice then?"
"I choose 'truth'"
"I have a perfect question for you. What's the most embarrassing nickname someone has given you, and how did it come about?"
Drew blushed pink. But Piper was chuckling "I already know it. Let's hear it from our princess herself. Shall we?"
Leo: "You mean she has a worse nickname than 'Glamourgoof'?"
Annabeth: "She did."
"Okay, okay," she began, "So, back in my early days at camp, there was this mischievous Hermes demigod who decided to give me a nickname. He thought it was a hilarious play on words."
She paused for dramatic effect, relishing Harry's attention.
"He called me 'Drew the Drool.' The reasoning behind it? According to him, I had this habit of daydreaming, and apparently, he caught me daydreaming while I was drooling. Can you believe his nerve?"
Laughter erupted from the campers as Drew rolled her eyes, clearly not thrilled with the memory.
"I quickly set the record straight, of course. But you know how nicknames stick around, especially in a place like Camp Half-Blood. Thankfully, it didn't last long, and I made sure that Hermes kid regretted it."
Grover: "Seeing the amount of wailing you did"
Why did he have to bring that up?
Leo: "I suppose he preferred the drool over the snot.-"
"And Leo, If you ever start that again I'm sooooooo going to ruin your life!"
"Understood, Drew the Drool!"
