Hour 6

(12:00 PM EST)

We packed up our kites and got back in the car. "Where do you want to go for lunch?" Beckett asked me.

    "I don't know.." I thought for a while.

"We can just drive down this road, there's a bunch of restaurants." Beckett suggested.

"Sounds good." I replied. Beckett started the car and we began driving down the road.

"Anything look good?" He asked me.

"Not yet." I answered, scanning all the possibilities. "Ooooo.. How about here?" I asked, pointing to the restaurant called, "Seafood Sit Down."

"That looks good." He said. He looked for parking and once the car was parked we walked to the restaurant. The first thing we did was look at the menu to make sure there was stuff we would eat. "I can eat this. You?"

"Yeah." I responded. We walked into the restaurant and got in line to order. Beckett got the seafood sandwich and I got the clam chowder soup with bread. After we ordered they handed us a ticket with a number on it. When our number was called we grabbed our trays and found a seat to sit at. We went outside and found cute picnic benches to sit on. We started eating and immediately looked at eachother with disgusted faces.

"Hows the soup?" He asked me.

"Delicious." I said sarcastically. "Hows your sandwich."

"Not fishy at all." He joked. "Do you want to get drive thru?" I nodded. "Okay, let's go." before We got up and threw our food away into the trash cans and placed our trays on top of the trash cans we took a picture together with our food and our thumbs down, making disgusted faces to the camera.

We drove to the closest fast food restaurant which was Wendy's. Beckett asked for a chicken sandwich and I got chicken nuggets and fries. When pulled to up to get our food. Once we had our food Beckett asked me, "Wanna go for a hike?"

"Where would we hike?" I asked him, taking a frie from the bag.

    "I know somewhere." He smirked.

"Okay, as long as there isn't any bears that are going to come out and kill us."

"Oppps." He smiled. "This place is know for accidental bear attacks. Especially attacking pretty girls."

"Well aren't you just Mr. Smooth Talk." I nudged him.

"Thank you, thank you." He let go of the steering wheel and jokingly brushed his shoulders.

"Beckett!" I screamed. He put his hands back on the wheel and began hysterically laughing. "Why is it so funny?"

    "I don't know." He laughed.

"I was just trying to not get us killed. I'm sorry if I'd like to make it to college."

"Remember, relax...." He placed his hand on my shoulder.

    "I'm sorry, it's a natural habit." I took in a deep breath.

"Let's have fun, this is our last day together!" He screamed, rolling down the window. "Come on scream something." He said.

    "No." I replied.

"Come on Harlyn, please." He begged.

"Wooo hooo!" I screamed. I actually felt nice to finally let go.

"Yes! That's what I'm talking about!" Beckett yelled.

"Aghhhhhh." I exclaimed, letting my hair blow in the wind. I began laughing.

Beckett rolled up our windows and then asked me, "Feels good, doesn't it?"

"Yes." I ate a few fries before we made it to the hiking ground. We both got out and Beckett led the way to the trail. We brought our food along with us to eat along the way. Beckett kept sneakily stealing my fries when I wasn't looking. "My fries." I playfully slapped his hand.

    "Hey!" He exclaimed.

"Fine." I rolled my eyes and held the fries out in front of him.

"Love you." He placed a kiss on my cheek.

"You suck." I jokingly slapped his stomach with the bag.

    "But you love me."

    "Sort of." I smiled.

"You love me a lot." He said.

"What makes you say that?" I smirked.

    "Because...... I'm your boyfriend."

    "Are you sure about that?"

"Yeah." He nodded. He nudged me in the shoulder and I wobbled, almost falling down the hill. He grabbed onto me as soon as he saw me wobble. "Sorry."

"I guess I can't stay mad at you forever. I mean look at you." I pinched his face.  We were half way done with the walk and haven't encountered any bears yet.

We walked for a little more and then I couldn't find Beckett anymore. I looked everywhere and I could find him, "Beckett?!" I screamed. "Beckett?!" I yelled again. "You better not be pulling a prank on me!" I warned. I stopped walking and began looking around.

"Boo." A voice behind me whispered in my ear.

"What the heck." I cursed, turning around to see Beckett with a sly look on his face. "I hate you." I shoved him and began walking away..

"Hey, hey, hey." He chased after me. "I'm sorry." He pouted his lip and wrapped his arms around me from behind. "I love you." He tried to apologize.

"You can't just scare me like that." I told him. "I was worried about you."

"I know, I know." He said, his arms still wrapped around me.

"I can't walk with you wrapped all over me." I growled. I stopped walking and turned towards him. I looked into his eye and couldn't stay mad at him. When I looked at him I saw the boy I fell in love with years ago and I knew that nothing could make me think anything else.

"I promise to not scare you anymore." He cupped my face in his hands. "Can you please forgive me?" He pecked me on the cheek.

"I forgive you." I smiled and pecked him on the lips. "What if you do scare me?"

"I'll do whatever you want me to do for you for a whole day."

"Deal." I smirked. Our hands linked together and we continued our hike.

As I looked ahead on the trail it looked endless, like it would never stop but I was okay with that because there isn't anyone else that I would want to walk to eternity with.
