Narrator: The Clone War threatens the unity of the Republic. As battles rage across the galaxy more worlds succumb to the seductive lure of the Separatists and leave the Republic. On a vital mission of peace, Senator Padme Amidala journeys to the Outer Rim world of Rodia, desperate to ensure its loyalty remains to the Republic accompanied by Jedi Master Cere Junda and Padawan learner Trilla Suduri.

Naboo Ship No POV

Palpatine;<hologram> Senator Amidala, I just received word that you have ventured through enemy territory into the Outer Rim.

Padme: Senator Farr requested me personally, Chancellor. His planet is in crisis. His people are starving. He's a very old family friend. I could not refuse his plea for help.

Palpatine:<hologram> I understand, but in these dangerous times, you should be accompanied by a clone escort.

Padme: this is a mission of peace. I put my faith in diplomacy. We can't solve all of our problems by throwing troops at them. Besides, I won't be unprotected. I have brought Jedi Master Cere Junda with her Padawan.

Palpatine:<hologram> very well. I suppose two Jedi are better than a Clone Escort. Good luck, Senator. <logs off>

Trilla: why do I have the feeling that we won't participate in these negotiations?

Cere: because there's no need for it. Master Kenobi told us to leave the negotiations to Senator Amidala. However he did say to always expect some kind of trouble with you, Senator.

Padme: of course he'll say that. Every time I hope for some peaceful negations, blaster fire is always near.

Padme flew into the planet of Rodia as she landed inside a hangar.

Padme: listen, it's best if I go alone.

Cere: are you sure about that, Senator?

Padme: I'm sure. Senator Farr is an old friend, I'll have him listen to reason. He will feel more comfortable if it's just me alone but I have a communicator just in case.

Cere: well, Master Kenobi told us to trust your judgment, even if it did get you captured a few times.

Padme: I won't be long. <walks out>

Trilla: so what do we do now?

Cere: perhaps some meditation is in order.

Padme put the same head covering and cloak she wore when she went to Ziro the Hutt's club during the Clone Wars movie as Silood was waiting for her.

Silood: his excellency, Ah-Twa.

Silood led Padme to Senator Farr who was looking at a tower just ahead of the hangar.

Padme: H'chu apenkee, o' diogran, Tor-sene-ko Farr.

Farr: Chowbaso.

Padme: oh, I've missed you so much.

Farr: I was afraid you might not come. We are such a small and humble system.

Padme:<walks with him> Uncle Ono, you are very important to me. We've been friends since I was a little girl, when you were my father's strongest ally in the Senate. Rodia is very important to the Republic, and of course, I'd come to help you.

Farr: you speak of friendship I have not witnessed of late. Where was the Republic when our supply ships were destroyed by pirates? Where was the Republic as my people starved? We have been stranded out here without any help at all. I know it is not your fault, but my people starve all the same.

Padme: I'm sure the Republic Senate will approve a relief effort. The vote was postponed, but you will get your food.

Farr: I am sorry. It is too late, my sweet. The Separatist leader Nute Gunray has promised to support us with a very generous relief effort. Neh-soo-bo-wah. He is giving us food, ships and protection.
